"That we'll figure out but in the meantime, why did your father tell you?" I asked him with an icy glare.
"He told me I'd have a better life here and to not misbehave" he said with a cool voice.
"Alright then, follow me" I said leading him the way of the village, I know exactly where he's going, I thought. Hey Ally, Josh said connecting all our minds together.
Yeah?, I thought answered back.
Are you putting him in the magic house?, he asked, the magic house was a house specifically for magic users that the royal family don't trust yet.
Yes I'm putting him there, I told him.
We finally reached the magic house.
"This is where your staying" I said to zachary but his eyes were on the house.
"This is your magic house isn't it?" He asked.
"Obviously, I don't quite trust you yet so you're staying here, I'm going to keep an eye on you as well, me an one of my friends will keep an eye on you"
"Haha so no trust from anyone huh?"
"And evil glares from the villagers but I'm sure they'll get used to you being around" I assured him, he nodded and walked in and I followed with my friends walking away. Tristan don't worry about me alright? I thought-talked to him. He nodded and walked off while I walked in the magic house and zachary already on the furniture.
"This is way nicer than my old place" he said sitting down, I just simply nod and take the armchair.
I decide to look through his mind. I see thoughts about me, and his father. About me I can't see it clearly but it's something like he has a crush or something, about his father it's about how he gave him up and he wants to repay the favor.
"What are you doing?" He asks me.
"Nothing just thinking" I lie and he nods.
"You know I never got to ask whats your power? since I can't see your arm i don't know" I told him.
"Light magic" he answers.
"Wha---- your father is a dark magic user and your a light magic user??? Whoa weird"
"Yeah never made sense to me either that's why I cover it up, it's a different branch and that might disgrace my family"
"How will you?? You're a new generation, you have your magic and no one else can take it from you, and no one can make you feel bad about yourself"
"Thanks for that but I'll keep it covered just in case"
