The beginning of magic

The Final Dragon

Zachary's POV:
I walk and find myself in a dark-purple electric scenery, I heard a stone door close behind me, I turn around and hear the dragon land behind me, so I turn around and see Darkrai, the most powerful dragon, ever known to any kind.
I look at Darkrai dead in the eyes, his glowing purple eyes, as if he was trying to sense something, then before I knew it I was in my childhood home, I saw my friend Donavan, me and him were the best of friends, then he started to bully me every time he got the chance after he found out I had to live on the Kingdom of the Moon.
I watched us and saw all the good times we had, then last year's memory of me at his birthday came around, the memory just passed me, and I smiled.
"Great wasn't it? Back when we were kids?" A familiar voice behind me said, I turned around and saw him:

Donavan, in his usual 'bad boy' style (A/N: based off of Corey Fogelmanis, he'll be important later on!!), "wasn't't it nice, when we were young, when you weren't a traitor?" He asked me a smirk on his face.
"I'm not a traitor Donavan." I say to him.
"Oh yeah? Prove it, did you wanna go to the goody-goody kingdom? Yes and you're dating Princess Alexa too man, damn I never expected you to stoop that low." He smirked again.
"Hey don't bring Alexa into this!" I raised my voice getting defensive.
"Oohhh look at that, you really are head-over-heels for this bitch huh?"
"She is not a bitch, she's the most amazing person I've ever met!"
"Oh look at that it's all her now huh? Well what happened to me and you? We have been like brothers since who knows when? And suddenly out of nowhere your going to the kingdom and have a crush on the enemy! And now, now you're with her! You traitor!" He yelled at me.
"Hey bro, calm down, ok? We could still be brothers and I'm not a traitor." I tell him.
"Oh yeah? What is the outcome of this quest of yours?"
"Remember how your mom died?" I asked him, then pain hitting his face immediately, his mom died because she disagreed with my father so he poisoned her.
"What does she have to do with any of this?" He asked me.
"If I get this potion, she will be cured, and so will Alexa---" I got cut off by him.
"Oh my god! Enough about her I mean it's not like it's true love between you two." He mocked, and I pinned him against a wall.
"Don't you ever say that! Id die for Alexa! I love her! I'd do anything for her! Alright? I'm risking my life for her! I love her way too much to let her go! She can't leave me here in this world by myself without her I would've died a long time ago! You got that? Remember when I thought about killing myself and father told me that I was going to the Kingdom of the Moon to live with the princess? Well that's why I'm not gone yet! Her!" I yelled at him, he look stunned and he had no words, and I was on the verge of tears, "I'm doing this for her, now are you going to help me? Or are you going to be the dick you've acted like since I was told that information and abandon me?" I asked him tearing up. I waited a few seconds and let him drop to the ground, I turned around and his voice stopped me from going anywhere.
"We're brothers, we stick together always, let's go save the love of your life and my mom." He says simply. I smile and we walk on and keep walking till I see Alexa, in tears on the floor.
"Alexa!" I yelled and ran to her.
"No! Zachary no! It's a trap!" She said and I stopped because Donavan was pulling me back.
"Look." He pointed, I saw ropes, and I saw a creature I've never seen before, it looked dangerous, and there were many more.
"Dude, their loompa tiki hurighes (her-I-es) warriors, they'll stop at nothing to keep their victim, and capture one. He told me, I looked at Alexa, her eyes pleading for me to go.
"Well it's a good thing I'm not gonna stop until I get her." I said and then we heard another voice.
"DONAVAN!" Another familiar voice yelled, we looked in that direction and saw Donavan's mom.
"MOM!!" Donavan yelled and we both started attacking.
Donavan had the power of water and ice so he started freezing the Warriors but once he froze 5, 10 more appeared.
After a few minutes, we were against millions of warriors, then, I was reminded that me and Donavan, had a special power move that could wipe out, these warriors to give us just enough time to free Alexa at least, and Alexa could help us with them.
I looked at Donavan, Donavan looked at me and we both nodded. I got in my position and so did he, then I made a tornado of light magic, and he covered it with a line of water surrounding it, and ice in the space the water wasn't and both powers circled my tornado.
Then we both let it go and the Warriors were gone.
I ran to Alexa, her head was down, so I put it up and looked at her.
"Hey." She smiled, "nice to see you in another dream of mine." She laughed.
"Yeah anytime I'm with you is a good time." I smiled at her almost crying.
"Hey hey don't cry," she wipes my tears away, "now you're on the last dragon?" She asked me.
"Yeah." I told her.
"You need to face your biggest fear for me then Zachary, you need to face your biggest fear."
"Seeing you with somebody else.... And losing everyone...."My voice trailed off.
"Hey hey, don't make that face, don't worry ok? You got this, I know you do, ok? And just in case you forget later: I love you Zachary." She told me, I smiled and she disappeared.
"Hey bro what happened to her?" Donavan asked me.
"I need to face my biggest fear, losing her and all the ones I love." I told him.
"Hey man, you got this ok?" He told me and before I knew it he was gone too.
Then I looked around and saw nobody was there, then my surroundings changed, I was at a party, the first thing that catches my eye is Alexa, she was wearing a beautiful blue dress and she was holding somebody's hand, I saw it was a boy named Jacob:

I saw them and I felt rage boil in my blood, I wanted to go up to him and punch him, but then I saw her parents and how happy she was, and I smiled. Then I saw my dad, come up to me.
"You are a disgrace to us!" He yelled then everybody, pointed and laughed at me, then I saw Donavan laughing and pointing too.
Then the next thing I knew I was in an arena, me against my father. I gulped and then the match started.
He let out a huge dark ball of magic, I easily deflected it and turned his energy around right back to him, stunning him and having him out of the match.
Then I was on the floor and I was in a trance, I saw Alexa, she was looking at me scared.
"What do you want?" She said.
"For you to be happy." I told her.
"How can I be happy with you around?" She spat out.
"Fine for you to be happy I won't be around." I said then I took my life force and gave it to her and felt myself drop to the ground.

I woke up and found myself in the electric zone I started out in, I saw Darkrai looking at me.
"You have passed young one." He said and waved his arm and the potion came into my hands.
"Have your love take this and she will be cured and a few others as well, and the one you once called your brother shall be your brother once more." He said, I nodded and thanked him and then he added, "we owe a debt to you, young Zachary."
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"We thought nobody would ever be worthy enough to even get passed Lilac, but you proved us wrong now whenever you need us, just blow this horn and we will be there." He said giving me a horn I nodded and was off on my way back to Alexa.
