The beginning of magic

The Winter Ball

Alexa's POV:
Everyone is inside the castle waiting for me to start my opening, I take a deep breath and stand up.
"Hello everyone and welcome to our winter ball" I say and everyone cheered, "the first thing I'd like to say is Merry Christmas everybody and please make sure to put your presents under the tree and I will pass them out personally later and until further notice everyone have a good time and please enjoy some music, I will be singing and anyone of you who would like to sing may as well." I pause again while everyone cheers once the cheering dies down I start to talk again, "thank you everyone have a nice night" I finish and I walk off while the music starts. I walk over to my friends who are chatting and I see Dustin trying to hold Emma's hand and once he grabs it I see Emma blush, I have a triumphant smirk on when I walk over Sara has the exact same smirk on as me.
"What are you 2 smirking about?" Tristan asks us.
"Oh nothing nothing" Sara shrugs off the question, "Hey Ally wanna sing our song now?"
"Yeah sure, come on Emma" I say breaking Emma out of her trance, we start walking to the center of the room I stop and the musician knows what to do so he starts playing music (video A/N: i know its 5th harmony but just imagine it with 3 girls instead of 5 by the way all of the parts are separated equally between the 3 of them)
We finish the song an the crowd cheers, then the little girl that received her powers from me went up and started singing Santa Tell Me (Ariana Grande) I clapped and cheered for her, the she made eye contact with me and she smiled and started walking over to me.
"Jahnaeya hi!" I said as she came closer to me.
"Hello princess" she smiles.
"Call me Alexa or Alex or Ally please" I said encouraging her not to use my title, I don't know why but I never thought a title should give you respect; hard work and loyalty should.
"Ok Pr---- I mean Alexa" she laughs.
"So are you here with your friends?" I asked her she looked uncomfortable when I did.
"Uh no I don't have any friends" she said sadly with her head down.
"Oh you poor thing come here" I said leading her to my friends.
"You guys this is Jahnaeya,the girl I gave powers to" I remanded them hoping they will be nice.
"Hi I'm Sara it's nice to meet you" Sara says holding out her hand and Jahnaeya shakes it.
"I'm Emma" Emma waved to her.
"I'm Dustin" Dustin says plainly.
"I'm Tristan" Tristan says with a smile.
"I'm josh, you've got an amazing power by the way" Josh says looking at her magic mark. Then Zachary walks up to her and squats down on his knees.
"I'm Zachary nice to meet you" he sad holding out his hand but I can tell he was gonna question her, "so why are you hanging out with us 15 year olds? Why don't you hang out with your friends"
"Zachary!" I said through gritted teeth hitting his arm.
"Owwww! What?" He asked innocently.
"It's ok Ally" Jahnaeya pipes up and looks at Zachary, "I don't have any friends" she tells him sadly.
"We'll not anymore you just made 7" Zachary tells her, her face lights up with a huge grin.
"Really?" She asks not believing what she just heard.
"Really" Emma answers her. Jahnaeya's face lights up more and hugs Emma giggling.
Later for the gift opening:
"Everyone may I have your attention?" I said and everyone quiets down and looks at me.
"It is time for the gift opening now everyone please open your gifts" I say and the presents appear out of nowhere, I hear the wrapping paper tearing, giggling, and some disappointments but overall it was a good ball.
The rest of the night was joyful and amazing but after the ball I got into my room and fell sound asleep.
