Chapter 5

B The next morning Emma and Neil met at the docks early, so they could be sailing before Corey got up. She obviously would want to go with them but together Snow, Charming, Neil, and Emma decided it would be better for her Health is she didn't go. The salty wind whipped their faces. As they rowed out to the large pirate ship sitting in the middle of the Harbor. How Neal learned how to sail Emma didn't know but she knew it had to do with his time in Neverland.

She listened to the ship creak and groan. She thought about the way her Mom had looked at Corey and how happy she looked as she played tag with Corey and Henry. But yet Emma couldn't get the look in he moms eyes out of her head. They almost looked sad and deep down Emma knew that Snow had been thinking about Emma. What Emma would have been like at that age.

" We're here!" Neal called from the bow of the ship. The voice of her ex-boyfriend made her grimace but she glanced up from the floorboards to see the Manhattan skyline.

As she and Neal walked to Neal's old apartment. Neil tried to talk to her but honestly Emma didn't care one bit about what he had to say. Emma's walls were already up because of Neal but she prepared herself for Hook's oncoming fire. She knew that Hook knew where a cracks in her armor was and was determined to get through. But Emma made sure all her cracks were filled in. No bastard of a pirate would break her armor this time. She rounded the corner and headed down the stairs with Neil following close behind. As they entered the basement she came face to face with Hook's smug smile.

"I knew you'd come back love" He said with a laugh. Emma was surprised how he could be so chipper especially while being tied up in a metal box also know as a storage unit for multiple days. Neal fumbled with the key. Emma stood next to him looking everywhere except at Hook. Finally she heard door's lock click and the door swung open.

"Couldn't leave a man to starve could you?" Hook said with a smirk. Sometimes Emma wondered if that smirk ever left his face.

"We aren't releasing you because we want to. We are releasing you so we can bring you back to storybrooke. There's someone there who wants to see you" Emma said.

" Go ahead! Take me to the crocodile! Let him kill me! Ya coward" Hook shouted. Emma held him down while Neal detached his hook.

" We aren't taking you to Mr. Gold ... I mean Rumpelstiltskin" Emma said. As Emma said this a look of confusion crossed Hook's face.

" We are going to take you to your ship but no funny business. I promise that you will actually want to see the person we are taking you to" Emma said. But Hook just glared at her. She and Neil hoisted Hook to his feet. As they began to walk down the hall Emma leaned towards Hook

" I swear to god, if you pull anything before we get to the ship. I will personally take you to Rumpelstiltskin. Am I clear?!"
