Friends or Enemy's?

Hey all the smurfs out there! How are you guys!! This chapter is kinda just a filler but i hope you like it!!

Chapter 6- Friends or Enemy’s?

I looked over to The Duke. I know I really shouldn’t be scared of an eight year old but he was actually really tall for his age. I mean he was up to my shoulders. But this wasn’t the time to be worrying about his height. I really think that he is going to tell me off for what I did to Jet and if he was going to fight me I would be down in a flash cause he brought back up with him.

I looked over to where Pipsqueak and Longshot stood. I hope Bee turned up really soon. I smiled over to them hoping that they weren’t angry. They nodded to me. Oh great. I turned back to TD and he smiled at me. Phew that brings a little hope.

“Sooo I heard you beat up Jet today?” He was still smiling so I nodded to him with a blank face. “You know that took guts to do that,” I was now really confused. Why would some of Jets sidekicks say that I have guts to beat up Jet? Or is that not a compliment?

“You know that he won’t be nice to you anymore after that,” I nodded. “But we will be there on your side.” I couldn’t help it. I looked at him and my mouth dropped.

“W-what?” I stuttered. Aren’t they on Jets side! “I don’t get it?” I looked around to all of them and they were … smiling? Is this their kind of scheme to distract me? Well it was working until now.

“Yea. We want someone to bring back the real Jet. The one who we first elected to be our leader. The one whose head wasn’t filled with power. So we decided to pick you since you stood up to him today without hesitation.” Pipsqueak exclaimed. Ok so they are being serious.

“Ok fine I’ll do whatever I can to help Jet become himself again after I finish my training. Deal?”

“Deal!” They all said together. I looked around to all of them and they were still smiling. What the?

“Why are you guys still smiling like maniacs?” I asked giving up.

“You are talking to us,” Oh, dang it!

“Don’t tell Jet, got it?” I warned them with a harsh voice.

“Ok, don’t worry we wont tell anyone!” TD held his hands up in defense. They all started laughing so I couldn’t help but laugh with them.

“Hey, what are you guys laughing about?” I turned around and saw Bee walking towards us. We looked around at each other.

“Well I have absolutely no idea what about you guys?” I said looking around. They all shrugged their shoulders. Bee walked over and came and sat next to me putting her feet in the water too.

“What were you guys talking about?” She asked. I looked over to the guys and TD was the first to reply.

“We were talking about our plot to get Jet back to his old self. You know the one we were talking about last night when everyone had left, well we asked Caz if she wanted to join and she said yes. But only after she has finished her training.” Oh so that’s where Bee was last night.

Bee just nodded at him and then stared out into the river. It was then that I had the courage to ask the question I had been waiting to ask for a long time. “What was Jet like before all the power went to his head?”

“Well he was actually really nice to people, he used to always put people before himself. We used to have so much fun hanging out together but that was until the fire nation soldiers made a trail in our forest. They come from one earth village to the next not far from here. The only reason we set up in the forest was because there were no fire benders here so Jet came up with a plan to get rid of them. So because he came up with the idea he’s now the leader he was pretty good at first but now he’s gone crazy with power.” TD said. I guess this Jet is really bad if his friends go behind his back to get him back to his old self.

“We should really be heading back TD,” Pipsqueak said. “We will see you girls later.” All three boys walked off. With them gone it was actually really quiet. And relaxing. I laid back with my hands behind my head and closed my eyes. I really had a tiring day.

“Caz,” Bee finally said.

“Mmmm,”

“What are you going to do when you see Jet next? I mean you can’t ignore him forever.” I actually hadn’t thought of that, but she has a point. I can’t ignore him forever. I sat up, my relaxing moment gone.

“I really don’t know. What do you think I should do?”

“Maybe you should just let it go with the flow, I mean just don’t say anything to him and maybe he will leave you alone.” I looked at her. Yea like that will happen. “Ok so maybe he wont leave you alone but you have me and the boys so if he try’s to hurt you or whatever we will be there for you. Come on we should probably head back now.” I sighed last time I heard those words was from Aang and he broke his promise. How I wished he hadn’t.
