a couple weeks later
Calum's point of view
Tomorrow is syd's birthday and the lads and I are planning a party for her. Right now she's out with jaz and emma getting lunch.
"So what are we doing guys"ash asks
"well syd loves Monsters university so why not a Monstersuniversity theme party" i say
"i'm down"Luke and Michael say
"ok good who's getting what"ash ask
"I'll get the candy and mike and Luke can get decorations and ash you can get the cake"i say they nod
"good lets get the thing we can keep them in the basement then set up after syd leaves with jaz to go to a birthday breakfast"i say we all nod at each other
Next day Syd's birthday
We were all getting ready for syd's party. Jaz and Emma had already took her out for breakfast. Mike and luke are getting the living room set up. Ash is getting the cake and I'm helping syd's mom and aunt,Katie, with setting up the food. Syd's mom got back just in time for syd's birthday,but syd still thinks her mom is out of towns and syd's aunt lives in the states so she decide on coming.
"so calum what are you plans with my daughter"syd's mom aka momma le says putting the plate of homemade egg rolls down looking at me
"what are you taking about"i ask placing the plate of cookies her
"oh don't play with me calum, I've known you since the day you were born, i saw the way you use to look at my daughter back in Australia"she says
"nothing really" i say shrugging
"that's bullshit"says ashton as he walks in with the cake syd's mom picked out
"as much as i don't like bad language i must agree with ashton here sweetie" momma le says auntie katie nods
"cal you know you like syd"ash says setting down the cake in the center of the table
"We finished setting up the living room"mike yells walking into the kitchen
"Michael honey inside voice please"momma le ask
"yes momma le"Michael mumbles (syd's mom told all the boys to call her that because they were family now which made them all smile)
"mike don't you think cal whipped on syd"ash asks looking for an answer
"yeah he's smitten like a kitten"mike says
"ok maybe i do like he,so what she probably doesn't like me"i say
"cal honey are you blind, i know my niece well enough to know who she likes and that is you"auntie katie says looking at me
"yeah cal she's is so smitten over you too"luke says
"well maybe i should ask her out"i say
"you should, but if you hurt my baby i'll kill you"momma le says i nod
skip to when syd arrives home with jaz
Syd's point of view
"come on let's go inside"jaz says getting out and walking up my driveway with emma following walking really fast
"hold on stop walking so fast"i say getting my keys out(the boys told syd they would be at a writing session for the next album). i unlock the door and turn to flicker the lights on
"SURPRISE"somepeople yell and i turn back around to see the boys,my aunt katie, and my mom
"MOM"i yell running over giving her a big hug
"hey honey how are you"she says letting go
"good i didn't know you'd be home"i say happily hugging her again turning to my aunt
"hey aunt katie" i say hugging her
"hey sweetie how are you" she ask
"great now that you and mom are here"i says
"ok now that you said hey to you mom and aunt let get this party started"michael yells and i giggle
Later that night
Right now i was opening presents everyone got me. MY mom and aunt went to bed already so it was just me,jaz,Emma and the boys.
"ok syd open mine first" luke says pushing his present into my hands. i rip the wrapping paper and open it to see a light blue Polaroid camera
"omg thank you lukey I've always wanted one how'd you know"i say hugging him
"you told me when we were in the kitchen a couple weeks ago you wanted one"he says
"here we can take the first picture together" i say taking a pic of us smiling funny into the camera and righting amazing birthday after the picture develops
"ok enough now for mine" Mikey says putting a bag in front of me. i pull out all the tissue paper to see two all time low band-t's and the new all time low album signed by the band members
"OMG michael how'd you get this it hasn't even came out yet"i yell happily hugging him
"well i just called up alex and told him that is was one of my best friends birthday and he and the others sent this over"he said
"but how'd you knowi wanted it" i ask
"during one of our music listening sessions you said you couldn't wait for it to come out so you could get it"he says
"thank you so much"i say
"ok now from me and emma"jaz says handing me a bag i open it to see a lot of over the knee socks from hot topic and over sized band-t's
"thank you so much i love it"i say hugging them
"ok my turn now"ash says handing he a big bag. i take out the tissue paper and pull out a pic of the first time we met framed in a nice back frame
"awe ash it amazing i'm going to hang it up above my bed"i say hugging him
"your welcome i just wanted you to remember the first time we met"he says
"and i always will thank you"i say
"best for last as always"cal says putting a big box in front of me. i open it to see to smaller individual boxes and grabbing the smaller one iopne it to see a necklace that has a heart locket on it.
"open the locket"cal says i open it to see a picture of him and me, before i moved and a pic of us with the others.
"open the other box"cal says. i pick it and open it to see two font row tickets to all time low with backstage passes. i cover my mouth. i pull calum into a tight hug.
"thank you thank you so much"i say
"your welcome"he says
