I get out of the car for the third time walking up to Kanaya's house. Strider and kk follow me still hissing and spitting curses towards each other like wigglers. Rolling my eyes I knock on the door and surprisingly I instantly get a reply.

A small "Who Is It?" From a familiarly safisticated soft voiced troll. I smile "kan it'2 me Ii thiink you remember my lii2p" she opens the door and my eyes go as wide as saucers. DAMN HOW TALL IS SHE JEGUS CRIST?! She smiles at me "Hello Dear, Are You Alright? I Heard About What Happened And I Know It Must Be Hard. I Would Have Gone Over To Your Hive, However I Just Couldn't Find My Keys."

I smile nervously "iit'2 fiine kan Ii'm ok no need to worry, and II under2tand II had a hard tiime fiindiing my key2 thii2 morniing too" she smiles lovingly and steps aside "Now Please Come In Make Your Self Comfortable" I can't help but drop my nervousness, she was always like a mom to me and I liked that.

She was kk's guardian and after my mom died she was really there for me. Something I could never hope to repay. I cant remeber how many times I ran to her when my step dad would hit me or yell at me when I was trying to move out. I was only 14 at the time so I couldn't do much. It was all beyond my control but kan always protected me.

I nod and walk into the neat and very clean hive. She greets kk and Dave too, telling them to stop rough-housing because it causes stress for others. she was gesturing the "others" part towards me. Pity sucks but it shows me that she cares to ak even greater extent.

I look back at them as I walk into the living room getting ready to relax, I know kans going to offer tea. Shes likes her men like her coffee, she perfers tea. Oh, I really should ask how her and Rose are doing. I bet there great they really were perfect together. I turn back to watch where im walking and in front of me..
