I passed the school gates and stopped in front of the school's entrance's stairs..can you imagine what I'm saying? No? Then don't try anymore. I picked up my skateboard and walked up the stairs, I opened the entrance door and I'm instantly in the jungle.
I swear they aren't people at all, their animals, aggressive animals. There's a group of guys shoving a smaller student in the bin, to the other side were girls loudly gossiping, then nerds busy talking about who knows what, a couple sucking each other like there's no tomorrow by the lockers, and here I am, busy observing them and criticizing. Good thing I got this new iPod, I was able to download rock songs, well not hard rock. I really love this "Raised by Wolves" by U2.
I went to find my locker and luckily it's four feet away from the couple who is halfway to home run, I shoved my board in and some books I'll need later afternoon, I'll just "modify" this locker next time, it's just my first day here anyway. I closed my locker and there, the two's still busy with each other, AGK! I turned around and walked to my homeroom. I'm new so I waited for the teacher outside, I took a peek by the small window on the door, our homeroom is packed, everyone is present. I'm just new but I can say that there are different groups here, so I'm guessing that the people nearest the teacher's table are the nerds, then the bookworms, on the very center are,I think, the populars, then there are the jocks, and then the people who looks hopeless in life. I'm not the friendly, jolly, optimistic kind of person, in fact I'd rather be alone since it's a lot easier that way.
The teacher's not yet here so I got my pen and decided to draw on my wrist. I can't think of anything to draw so I just drew an anchor, it's kinda cool. Then the teacher arrived; I removed my headset and hanged it around my neck, I kept my pen and turned off my music.
"Hi, you must be Raquel Osborne. I'm Ms. Ross, I'll be your homeroom teacher and music teacher." Ms. Ross greeted me, I can say she looks young and jolly. She told me to wait here while she enters the classroom.
"Good morning, class!" I heard her greet, "Today's the first day of 4th year and soon you'll be graduating, I can see that most of you..uhm..matured--" she was cut off by the loud laughter of the jocks, I presume. "Hahahaha!!"
"Well, most of you, except Mr. Adams." She said and the laugher faded. "Okay, so we have a transferee student." She looked my way as if telling me to come in, so I stepped in and walked beside her casually. I didn't really care I just want this over with so I can sit and have my peace. "Please introduce yourself." She gestured me to the center. Everyone was looking at me and are waiting for me to speak, "My name's Sophia Raquel Osborne, you may call me Raquel. I'm turning sixteen this year." That's all I said wasn't suppose to say the latter part but Ms. Ross whispered to me.
"Okay, Raquel you may sit over there, beside Mr. Adams." I nod and went over to the seat. I dropped my bag beside the chair and sit on it. "Hey." The Adams guy whispered to me. "I don't talk to strangers." I replied coldly without looking. "Oh haha, how rude of me. I'm Aaron Adams, but just call me Ace, you know plural of 'A' cause my name starts with 'A'.. Hahaha!" Ha. Ha. Ha. Not funny. He's annoying. "I don't talk to idiots." I said again trying to end the 'conversation', luckily the bell rang meaning homeroom is over, I need to go to my first class.
I picked up my bag and walked to Ms. Ross, "Miss, the registrar said I have to get my schedule from you." Ms. Ross looked at me and she said "oh, yes. Here. Your next class is chemistry, it's just the room beside ours." She smiled, I thanked her and went straight to my next class. After that my day was normal, I went to my locker to get my board then I placed my headset on to listen to music then I went home.
