"Good morning, friend!" Yep. Stupid greeted me.
"Morning, stupid."
"Oh, so back to being mean...oh wait maybe not cause at least you said 'Morning' back." And he showed that goofy smile of his and playfully winked at me. "Oh please, keep your ego to human level cause it's rising again to jerk level." I retorted.
"Hahaha.. I really find your retorts interesting rather than annoying." Then he went back to his chair, Ms. Ross is here already. Everyone was surprisingly listening attentively as Ms. Ross announced something about the upcoming acquaintance party. Apparently, this school are one of those who has one of these parties. This will be my first time to attend one since in my past schools there weren't any, but still, I don't find it interesting at all. Not really the party type.
After she dismissed us from homeroom, I got my bag and went to my next class. Of course, jerkpid tagging along..again. "What do you want, jerkpid?" I frowned at him. "Excuse me? Did you just insult me? Jerkpid? What's that even suppose to mean?" He looked at me innocently. "Oh you know, just a nickname for you. Cause you're so special that you're the only person in my life that is both a jerk and stupid." I showed him my most fake smile.
His mouth parted a little because of my not-so-lengthy explanation so I took that as a signal to leave. Though, before I can make a three-step distance away from him he was already walking beside me, catching up with my pace which I didn't maintain for long. Well, I've got no choice don't I? Not only that, but he was laughing as if his life holds on to it. "HAHAHA!! Jerkpid! So childish!" Then he stoped laughing and looked at me with a straight-face continuing, "...and mean." I thought he was mad until he smirked and said, "..but I like it. At least I know I'm special to you, snob." I just rolled my eyes, he laughing his ass out, as we enter our next class. Sad to say he is also with me in biology.
The whole day went well after that, jerkpid out of my sigh... huh! Dream! I hope I can say that, but no! He stuck with me like a shadow, to say that we weren't classmates in any class after biology, but every time my class ends, he will be waiting outside the classroom like Hachiko (A/N: not sure if I spelled it right...lmao) waiting for his owner outside the train station. Aww, I have a dog! Yay! Sarcasm.
"So, snob. Where to?" He asked as soon as I went out of math, my last class. I never tried to avoid him cause I know I'll just be playing a game of tag where I'll always lose. "Training, jerkpid." Yup. First training! I'm a little excited..just a little. Then his eyes twinkled as soon as I said training...jock. "Oh yeah! Now I'm not gonna miss to see you fall on your butt while epically kicking the ball!" He laughed finding his statement funny, which I don't. I elbowed him on his stomach which earned me a soft 'oopf'. "Shut up, jerkpid. You'll just hurt yourself and your ego."
I entered the ladies' locker room without saying anything to him. His a grownup I'm sure he doesn't need to be instructed. I started changing into my soccer jersey, then my long socks, my pair of shin guards, and my cleats. I was tying the laces of my shoes when I heard girls gossiping just behind the lockers I'm facing, the next aisle. I didn't mind them and continued minding my own business when I heard one of them say: "OMG! Have you seen our Ace with that new girl?!". Then another, "Yah! Like, did she cast a spell on him or something? I mean she is so...boring." Then they laughed girlishly. I finished changing so I went to them..oh yeah.. not gonna let them talk sheez about me.
"Oh..excuse me." I said politely. I can see how their eyes widen and their jaws dropped. Yeah, surprise! They should be more cautious when they are talking shit about someone you know. Stupidity. Stupidity. "Well, pardon me for disturbing your exciting conversation, but I think I heard my name and some stupid insults directed towards me. You guys are very lucky cause I heard it so I can remind you that when you talk about others behind their back, be more cautious you know, you never know what that person can do to you." I think I heard one of them gulp. Oops. I think I scared them with my calm threat. Hahaha. I smiled at them and walked towards the door. And that my friends, is how I roll!
