"Teasing gets you nowhere with me, Ms. Pierce." He comments before diving back in and attaching his lips to my neck, dragging his teeth across the sensitive skin and biting down gently, causing me to gasp. Kaleb takes advantage of this and slides his tongue easily into my mouth.
Chapter 9-
I stepped into the make-up trailer at nine the same morning with two steaming hot cups of coffee and the rental dress slung over my arm.
"I brought a peace offering." I grin at Cassie, the woman who had helped me get ready the night before, before handing her the coffee cup and hanging up the dry-cleaned dress back in its rightful spot.
"You didnt have to, I got home at a decent time last night and the husband wasnt mad." She smiled in thanks though and took the offered cup, blowing on it and taking a small drink.
"This is amazing." She sighed happily and ushered for me to sit down so she could fix my hair and my make-up that I had hurriedly put on after Kaleb and I's early morning cuddles and breakfast.
I sit down in my director's chair and undo my messy bun, letting my mass of wavy hair down to fan across my shoulders and back.
"You have the most thick, amazing hair I have ever seen." She comments as she sets her coffee down and gets to work, pinning half of my hair up and getting all of her makeup stuff out while turning on her straightener.
"And yet it only takes about twenty minutes to completely straighten." I comment as I close my eyes and relax, letting her work.
She turns on some soft music and begins, getting a makeup sponge and smoothing out my lines and getting the powder that matches my skin tone to blend it all in. She then gets the eyeshadow palate I keep in my vanity and fixes what I had already applied before adding a touch more mascara and tweazing a few stray hairs around my eyebrows.
"Want me to straighten all of it or just put it up in a ponytail and straighten that?" She asks me as she gets my brush and starts working through the kinks that had formed through the night.
"Most of our filming today is inside so just straighten all of it please." I tell her as I mentally go over every scene that we needed for today to stay on track.
Summit had granted me the creative freedom to film out of order as long as I would be able to put it back together and have it make sense. I had promised them that I would and even showed them a simulation I had created to show them how the whole project would pan out and how it would look once it was in chronilogical order.
"What scenes are you doing today?" she asks curiously as she works on the first layer of my hair.
"You know I cant tell you that. All I can tell you is that the romance that I had previously mentioned is turning ugly for a while." I grinned and she sighed in defeat.
"But they seemed really, honestly happy together." Cassie grumbled as she soon let more of my hair down.
"Sometimes people dont get the love they originally started out with. You know that." I remind her as I sit up some to roll my stiff shoulders.
"I know but they were still perfect for each other." she sighs as she lets the rest of my hair down and finishes it.
"You never know though, this new one might be perfect for her too." The trailer is silent as she cotemplates this new information and finishes with my appearence.
"You're good now, my dear. Now go get filming." She shoos me out of the trailer and I grin, grabbing my notepad and my pens along with my headset before heading to the first scene area.
