Chapter 13-In Charge

"Fuck, Kaleb..." I groan as my back arches up into him.

Chapter 13-

The next two weeks pass in a blur and soon the day of the gala is upon us.

"I'll pick you up from the set?" Kaleb asks me as we're getting ready this morning after a rather...long shower. I nod as I shimmy my skirt up my hips and zip it. The zipper rests on my thigh and the cut is right above my knees so it was still professional yet comfortable.

"Yes sir, at five." I smile at him and he grins back before tugging on my hips so I collapse against his bare chest.

"Well hello." I smile up at him as my arms make their way around his neck, my fingers digging into his shoulders gently.

"I havent gotten my good morning kiss yet." He fake pouts, his bottom lip jutted out some.

"What do you count this morning then? Practice?" I joke but oblige, leaning up on the tips of my toes to press my lips softly against his.

He groans agaisnt my mouth and pushes a little harder, the kiss getting deeper as he walks back to my bed before sitting down and pulling me onto his lap.

"More like a warm up." He mouths against my lips, licking agianst the seam and exploring once I let him in. A laugh escapes me and the kiss turns sloppy for a minute as I right myself and push on his shoulders so he falls back against his sheets.

"You are insatible." I reply as I kiss along his jaw, nipping at his stubbled skin before pulling back and sitting up.

"And you're a tease." he tells me as he tucks his hands behind his head and looks up at me.

"Get dressed, love, and dont shave please. I like you with a little scruff." He winks at me and I shake my head before climbing off and going to find my button-up black shirt and black wedges.

I get to the set with about ten minutes to spare and that even includes getting another kiss and breakfast from Kaleb.

"Someone looks happy." Cassie comments as I walk in with my cap on my head and my loose curls fanning around me.

"I have a wonderful boyfriend, my mom found her own human, my new story releases in a few days, and I'm getting a cat. I would say it's pretty good." I grin and she claps her hands like I had just done something wonderful.

"When is he coming to get you for the party?" she asks me as I grab my laptop and clipboard from my backpack and heading to my chair in front of the set but behind the cameras.

"At five. Im getting ready at home with Kaleb and then we're heading over." I reply as I turn my ball cap around and get my headset ready to put on. She comes over and clips my hair loosely behind me so it would be out of the way.

"Are my services required?" Cassie sits next to me in the empty seat and looks around curiously.

"Would you like them to be? I can pay you the usual pay if you dont have anything else to do. What about your boyfriend? I'm sure he wants to spend time with you since we have an easy day." I ask as some people bring me a few things to sign and get my permission for the book stuff too.

"I can spend an hour and get that much worth of pay and then I'll go home to him. Hes planning something and wont tell me what." she leans back in the seat and sighs.

"Sounds like a plan then. I'll get my usual driver to bring you to the apartment and then take you home, if thats alright." she nods eagerly and sits up.

"I love him! He's so funny and quite the gentleman." I nod in agreement and then the buzzer sounds through the building.

"Thats my queue to leave. I'll see you at lunch then?" She stands to leave and I nod, waving to her as I pull my microphone down and the actors for this scene come onto set.
