Drunken night

(Y/b/f/n) = your best friends name.

I bounced my knee up and down as I waited for the results.  I was absolutely terrified.  My best friend, (y/b/f/n), was patiently waiting next to me as we stared at the sticks for god knows how long.

I couldn't be a mother, not right now.  I'm not even in a stable relationship and I might be pregnant!  I knew I shouldn't have talked my best friend and I into going to a bar but I was feeling depressed at that moment and I needed a quick snag in the bathroom or somewhere else private.  Well, that 'quick snag' turned into a one night stand and a possible pregnant woman which just so happened to be me.

My anxiety was through the roof as I still concentrated on the sticks, waiting for them to tell me whether I'm to have a baby in my stomach or not.  I showed most of the symptoms which had began about last week.  The week of my period which I never received.  Never have I wanted my period so bad in my life.  Along with my missing monthly, I was throwing up like a sickly dog.  Every morning for the past four days, I've thrown up.  Which then all led up to the disgusting cravings which I desired so much.  Pickles and mustard, ketchup and mac n cheese, mayo and bologna sandwich.  I hated mayonnaise and bologna, by the way.

"Ten seconds left," She said and gripped my hand.  I closed my eyes for the last ten seconds and took a deep breath.  When the ten seconds were up, I opened my eyes but refused to look at the results.  I was scared for what they might say.

"(Y/n), you'll never know unless you check it." She said.

"I'm fine with that."

"No you're not, and you know that.  Now check the d.amn stick, now." She demanded and forced the pregnancy tests in my hand.

"Fine," I breathed and looked down.  My thumb was placed over the results, which I refused to move.

(Y/b/f/n) grabbed my thumb and moved it to the side, forcing me to look at the results.  My heart raced as I stared at the plus signs.

"Oh my god," I whispered.  "I'm f.ucking pregnant.  I'm freaking pregnant!" I yelled.

"We'll get through this, (y/n), we always do." She comforted me.

"Yes, but we're talking about a baby, for crying out loud!  We've never dealt with anything like this!" I said and rested my head on her shoulder.

"Well, you're responsible for doing something very important right now." She said.

"Make a doctors appointment, I know." I said and stood up.

"No," She said and grabbed my arm.  She grabbed my phone from the counter and handed it to me.  "You need to call him."

"No!" I yelled and slapped the phone out of her hand.  I didn't even care about my phone at this point.  "No!" I yelled again.  I know he's the dad but what am I suppose to say to him?  "Yes," I said when I realized how wrong of me it was for me to even consider leaving him out of this pregnancy.

I dialed his number and asked for him to stop by... quickly.  "(Y/n), when I gave you my number, I didn't realize you were really going to use it." He said.  Fortunately, I heard the clattering of his keys and realized that he was on his way.

"Things happen, now hurry." I said and hung up.

"Now we wait," my best friend said and walked to my kitchen to make us both a cup of tea.  I felt even more nervous now that I had to tell him that I am pregnant with his baby.

Several minutes later, (y/b/f/n) walked in the living room.  She nodded and and handed me the cup of tea. I took a sip only to spit it out when she told me he pulled up.

I hurriedly walked to the door when he knocked on it several times.

"Hi, Harry." I said and stepped aside for him to enter.

"What was it you needed to tell me?" He asked when he sat down beside me on the couch.

"Don't be mad, please." I said and cried a little bit.

"(Y/n), what's wrong?" He asked and wiped my stray tear away.

I opened my mouth but couldn't say anything.  I was lost at words.  What was I suppose to say to him.  So instead, I grabbed his hand and begged him not to be mad.

"I promise not to get mad." He assured me.  "Now what is it you needed to tell me so badly?" He asked.

I gripped his hand and pulled it closer to me until it was resting on my stomach.  He was confused for a while but then understood what I was trying to tell him.

"You can't mess with someone like that, (y/n)!" He yelled and yanked his hand away.

"I'm not!" I yelled back and stood up.  Apparently he felt intimidated by it because he stood up too so now I was looking up at him.

"She's not," my best friend decided to chip in.

"You know, you two are sick!" He yelled and began to walk away.

"Look!" I yelled when he opened the door.  "Look!" I said and held out the three tests that were in my hand.

He took each one from me and carefully looked at each.

"Oh my god," he breathed.  "Oh my god." He said.  Suddenly, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a bone crushing hug.  "I'm so sorry!" He said.

"Harry," I said and pushed him away.  "I'm pregnant with your baby." I told him.  It seemed to suddenly get into his head because he moved his arms from around me and back to his sides.

"We will figure this out.  But first things first." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"Move in with me."

"What! N-no! I can't just move in with you!" I panic.

"You're pregnant with my child! I need to make sure you are safe at all times." He said and began to make it way to my room.  I reluctantly followed him.  Sighing, I grabbed my clothes from Harry and placed them back in my dresser.

"No!  We barely know each other!" I point out.

"Gives you another reason to move in with me." He said.

"Absolutely not.  This is my place and I will not leave it.  I'm sorry, Harry, but that's final." I said, putting my foot down.

"Fine, have it your way.  He said and walked off.  Just as I thought he left, I heard him calling my name.

"Yes, Harry?" I sighed.

"Go on a date with me?" He asked.

"I don't see why not." I said and smiled when he planted a kiss on my cheek.

"Okay then, seven it is." He said and shut the door behind him.
