Maddie Grace's pov
I got a call from Tom, asking me to meet him at a nearby cafe. I walked down to where we were going to meet up and I saw him sitting at a small.
"Hello, Tom," I said.
"Hello," he replied.
"Why did you want to meet?"
"Are you hungry? Thirsty?"
"Why are you avoiding my question?"
"Okay... So I was thinking about adopting you, but I wanted to know if you wanted to be adopted."
"Are you the one who came to the orphanage a few days ago?"
"Yes, that was me."
"Of course I want to be adopted!"
As soon I had said that my mind went straight to Emma Paige. We have always been together. When I had no one, she was there. I can't just leave her.
"Tom?"
"Yes."
"It's just that... If you adopt me... Then I would be leaving behind my best friend."
"Oh I see. I just so happen to have a friend, who has been looking for a child to adopt."
"Really? Do you think he would want her?"
"Of course he would."
"Oh and one other thing: Marin."
"What does that mean?"
I got up and left. I had vowed to never say that name ever again, but I knew that if he wanted to adopt me, then he would need it.
Tom's pov
Maddie Grace left, while I just sat there thinking about what the hell "Marin" could mean.
RING! RING! RING!
I picked up my phone to see who was calling me. It was the adoption center, I started to worry that Maddie Grace has changed her mind.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Mr. Hiddleston? I'm sorry, but there is missing paper work for Maddie Grace Snow. We don't even have a birth certificate for her. Is there perhaps another name?"
"Marin," I whispered.
"What was that?"
"Do you possibly have something for Madison Grace Marin?"
"Just a minute, let me check."
"Yes, there is all the paperwork that is needed."
"Okay, thank you so much. Goodbye."
"Goodbye, Mr. Hiddleston."
Why would Maddie Grace change her name, or did her parents change it for her.
