So, It had been four days already since Kayley had eloped wtih God-knows-who. Well, she hadn't returned yet. I opened her closet and saw her diary. I got it and held it with my hands. So, should I read it or...
Ok, thing is, it was really tempting, just so you know.
I was still holding her diary and I still couldn't decide to whether or not read it. Ok, maybe I should just put it back from where I got it. Wait, no, maybe there's some important things here. Important things that I should know. Ok, I'm not reading it.
I entered my brothers' room again. Why couldn't Kayley and I get along with each other like they do?
Drew looked up as I entered the room.
"Hey," he mumbled.
"Hey yourself." I told him. It must have sounded cold since he looked hurt.
"What's wrong, Luanne?" Tom asked.
"I hate to say this, but I kind of miss Kayley."
"Well, I hate to say this too but I must agree with you." Drew said. "She's never been gone for this long, you know. I'm used to her being gone for a day or two but it's never been this long."
"Well, I don't miss her though." Tom butted in.
"You heartless bastard." I told him with mock anger.
"Ouch. I was kidding. It feels a kind of different when she isn't here, you know. I can't hear the both of you shouting at each other anymore."
So, there goes Tom again. Suddenly, almost unexpectedly, the phone rang. Tom answered it.
"Hey, dad." Tom's eyes widened and his voice increased, "WHAT?" We moved closer to him.
"It's Kayley.. something happened to her." He said as soon as he hung up.
