It was good to be back home. It was just pretty awkward to have Kayley back.

"Is your head better?" I asked her.

"It's none of your business," she replied and I gave her a shrug.

Now that we finally had Kayley back. It was Drew who was next to be gone. We all had no idea to where he was. Tom said that maybe, just maybe, he went to find his best friend who had hurt Kayley.

"Can't we just get along for like, ten minutes or something?" I told her.

"That's close to impossible, Luanne." And she began crying. I didn't know what to do. I mean, seriously, I was a big faggot on those things. "I thought we were getting serious, Luanne."

I sat next to her and desperately tried to comfort her. God, it was awkward.

"Shhh," I whispered in her ear. "that guy is not worth your tears." That was a stupid line, I know.

"I know," she said, wiping her tears. "I can't help it. Ugh, fuck."

Someone opened the door and I instantly jumped off the bed. It was Tom and he was already cracking up.

"Care to knock?" I almost screamed at him.

"You should have seen your face." He said. Then he saw Kayley and his mood changed. "Is there something wrong, Kayley?"

"Nothing. I'm an emotional peanut. Don't mind me."

"I thought so."

"What do you need, Tom?" I asked him.

"I was just checking on both of you. I see you are doing fine. I'll leave now, bye." He mumbled the words and I almost didn't understand half of it.

"I'm sorry, you were checking both of us?" I teased him.

"Fuck off, Luane."

He walked out of the room, said goodnight before he closed the door.

"Do you want to talk about it tonight or should we leave it for later?"

"Let's sleep, Luanne." I nodded and turned off the lights.

The next morning, Kayley's bitchy self was back.

"Luanne, bring me a coffee." She commanded.

"I'm sorry, but do I look like a domestic helper to you?"

"Sort of." Gosh, wasn't she annoying?

I got out of the room to get her a damn coffee, I never knew why I did that.

I was brewing the coffee when Tom showed up beside me.

"Is Drew back yet?" I asked him.

"He sent me a message that he'll be back anytime today."

"Great. Now, excuse me 'cause I'll have to bring this coffee to our patient." I held the cup of coffee on my hand and headed to our room.
