The Best Christmas Present.

I am dancing around the living room to Christmas music coming from my laptop as I decorate our Christmas tree. Red bows, gold bells, crystal ornaments, and so many others. I turn around as I hear my husband chuckle and say "Babe your so cute." I smile and he walks over to me with another box of ornaments, he puts the box down and pulls me into a hug and kisses me. I smile and start opening the next batch of ornaments.

"2010, wow it's been 5 years since we bought this house together?" Jai says as he puts the ornament shaped like a key on the tree. I smile and say "it's been a great 5 years." He chuckles and grabs more ornaments out of the very full box. I start fixing the ornaments that have hooks that have fallen off. I say fixing the wedding bell ornament "2012 we got married 3 years ago." Jai replies "best day of my life was you becoming mine forever." I smile at him, give him a quick kiss and hand him the ornament. He puts it on the tree carefully. I start hanging up the rest as "Winter wonderland" comes on the radio I start to sing. Jai smiles and watchs me put the last ornament on the tree.

After dinner I wrap the tree in silver and gold garland. It's time for Jai to but the star on top. "Ready for the star?" Jai asked and I reply "she ready." Jai picks up the star and gentle puts it on top gently. We both step back and admire our Christmas tree hugging one another.

Christmas Eve came super-fast this year. Jai and I are watching a Christmas movie waiting till 6 to be at my parents house for dinner when I decided that it's the perfect time to give him his present. I stand up and go into the garage to get his present that I have been hiding from him for a couple of months.

I walk back in and jai says "where did you go?" I smile and say "to get your Christmas present, well part of it." he smiles and practically grabs it out of my hand, I giggle and he says "What did you get me?" I reply "open and see." He smiles and starts tearing into the gold wrapping paper. I couldn't help but bite my lower lip in anticipation. He gets the paper off setting it next to him on the couch me sitting in front of him on the coffee table. He takes the lid off the white cloths box and the first thing his sees is blue and pink wrapping paper. I looks at me confused and lifts the tissue paper off. he looks at me confused as he lifts up the white onesie. "this isn't going to fit me babe." I giggle and say "unfold it." when he does, then he sets it aside and I say "There's more." He picks up the white croched baby botties and sets them aside. He is still confused I reply "you don't get it?" he just looks at me and then smiles ear to ear. "Your pregnant?" he says I smile. I couldn't help but giggle and nod. He jumps up and hugs me and smothers me in kisses. "Since when? I thought you had the flu?" I smile and says "no just growing a baby for 3 months." he smiles and spins me around. He puts me down and kneels down and kisses my stomach and says "I can't wait to meet you either." In reply to the onesie that says ' can't wait to meet you daddy.' I smile and say "there is one more." He looks at me and I say "we have to put up our baby's ornament." He smiles as I hand him the white heart ornament that reads 'Coming soon in 2016 - Baby Courtney.' Jai holds my waist from behind as I place the ornament on the tree and jai kisses the side of my head. Then our Christmas song comes on the radio and jai asks me to dance right there in front of our Christmas tree. I smile wide as jai sings "because all I want for Christmas is you."  After the song is over Jai hugs me tight and says "Best Christmas present I have ever received."
