The Perfect Family

It's been a month since I had our beautiful baby boy. Jai and I couldn't be any happier than we are right now. But my happiness is coming to an end, because I have to go back to work tomorrow. My boss is making me come back early because her sister is getting married in Las Vegas and she wants me to take over as boss. Jai doesn't want me to go back so early because I did just pop out a 7 and a half pound baby. I need my rest but oh well, I'm just bummed that I have to leave me new family.

Jai is at the gym, Aiden is lying in his bouncer (which he loves) next to me sleeping. I am folding the third basket of laundry today while watching some dumb Tv show. Jai walk in and says quietly "hey love I'm home." He walks over and kisses me then he bends down and kisses Aiden on his head. He walking into the bedroom. He walks out with his shirt off and says "I'm cooking you dinner tonight." I blush and say "what's the special occasion?" he replies with his perfect smile "what I can't spoil my girl?" I smile from ear to ear. He shakes he's head and chuckles. He heads back into the bedroom to take a shower in our bathroom.

 The next morning I wake up to my alarm clock blaring I roll over and think ugh 6:30am already. I slap it off so it doesn't walk up my boys. I get up and get dressed and head back to work. Ugh.

  Jai pov.

 I roll over and see my wife had left to go to work. I sigh. I which she wouldn't let them push her around. She just had our baby she needs to rest but her boss need to go on vacation and needs her to manage the bakery. I hope that it doesn't get to busy cause of her anxiety she doesn't take stress while she gets overwhelmed. Aiden starts to cry and I get up and head to the nursery. When I get in there I pick him up careful and rock him. Let's be honest I am a little nervous because this is the first time being alone with my son. "hey there buddy what's the matter?" I say rocking him. He settles down, but I try putting him back in his crib and he cries again. I sigh and remembering that my wife had laid him in our bed but in his snuggle nest. I carry him and the snuggle nest into our bed, I put the snuggle nest in the middle of the bed and I carry him to the kitchen to get a bottle out of the fridge. He falls asleep as soon as he finishes his bottle.

 A hour later I finally fall back to sleep and he starts crying again. I sit up and look down at him, he starts crying even more. I pick him up and check his diaper yup he needs a diaper change. I pick him up and carefully walk him into the nursery to change him. He stops fussing after I get his diaper off. I know my wife would make the "he takes after you always wanted to be naked" comment. I chuckle to myself. I finish changing him, I realized I haven't eaten today so I carry him to the living room and I put him in his baby swing. I head into the kitchen to get a bowl of oat meal. When I am done I walk into the living room, as soon as my son sees me her coos. I smile and say "well hello there buddy." He continues to coo. I chuckle and turn on the Tv.

After im finish with my breakfast I look over at Aiden and he is asleep. I decided to put clothes away for my wife, I know she will be very tired when she gets home. The home phone rings and I quickly answer it. "hello?" nobody replies so I just hang up.

Later Wife's pov.

 I am so happy to be going home. I am exhausted, but I can't wait to see my family also. I need a kiss from my very handsome husband and I need to hold my son. I get into the car and head home. I finally get home after all the traffic, the stop lights are out. I walk into our apartment and see that the apartment looks spot less and Jai in the kitchen cooking. I walk into the kitchen and Aiden is in his swing he coos up at me. "Mommy's home." I say in a giggly voice. He coos and smiles. I walk over to my husband who was cutting up vegetables for dinner, I kiss his cheek. He stop turns around and kisses me. "Hey Beautiful how was work?" he asks I reply "not bad at all." He smiles and says "dinner will be done soon baby, why don't you go relax." I smile and say "okay, I'm going to go sit on the couch and play with Aiden." I pick up my adorable baby boy and head into the living room.

During dinner, I put Aiden in his swing and sit down for dinner. "so how was your guy's day?" I ask putting food onto my plate. He replies "good." I smile at my husband and say "the house look spot less." He replies after he swallows "yeah Aiden took a long nap so I straighten up." I reply "thank you, you are an amazing husband and father. I love you so much handsome." He smiles at me and says "your amazing yourself babe. I love you more. I love you two to the moon and back." I smile and say "I love my two favorite handsome boys."
