Secret affairs

Chapter Twelve:

Three days later I am feeling better. Reese comes up to me and says, " Hey we are having job day at school where are parents come and talk to the students. I want you to come and talk about being a nanny."

" Have you asked your momma to come?"

" Yeah and she is coming."

" Ok then yeah I will go buddy."

He smiles at me and gives me a hug. He says, " Thanks mommy."

I smile and nod before kissing him on the forehead. He is the best kid ever. All three of them are.

After he runs off to play Lucy walks up. She sits next to me and says, " So my class is having a thing where people come in to talk about what they do. Mom is coming and I would like for you to come also."

" Ok I will come sweety."

She gives me a hug and I hug her back.

The day has come where Wendy and I are going to the kids school. We go to Reese's first. I take care of Dylen while Wendy is talking. She talks about her job.

Then it is my turn. I walk up and the teacher tells the class who I am. She gives me a dirty look. I say, " Hey kids. I'm a nanny which means I watch kids. I live with the family and take care of them."

One kid says, " So like a babysitter?"

" Kinda but a babysitter doesn't live with the family."

The kids nod. The adults give me a dirty look. Ugh I hate adults at times.

After we are done we go to Lucy's school. Wendy goes first again and I take care of Dylen. When it is my turn I tell the class the same thing as I did with the last class.

One girl says, " So you get food, a house, and money just for watching kids. That isn't a real job. You suck."

The teacher doesn't say anything.

Lucy rolls her eyes.

Wendy and I decide to leave after that.

When Lucy gets home she is in a pissy mood. I go to her room and say, " Hey what's up?"

" I should have never asked you to come. Kids picked on me all day after you left. I hate you get out!"

I walk out feeling sad.

That night when we go to bed Wendy says, " What has been up with you?"

" Lucy hates me because of my job."

" Well she shouldn't because you help her a lot. She will get over it baby. I love you."

" I love you too babe."

I grab my guitar. I don't know if I will do this every night but I just feel like doing it tonight.

I start singing.
