Chapter 39:

It is a week later. It is also Christmas eve (A.N: Sorry but not sorry for putting Christmas in my book. If you don't do christmas then I'm sure your Holiday is amazing also. Just don't judge Christmas. Only saying this because people have been saying stuff on tv and facebook about not putting christmas in things.)

We are opening one gift each tonight. Wendy goes first she picks out a gift that is from Lucy. Lucy got her a necklace.

Next it is my turn. I open a gift from Reese. He got me a shirt that says worlds best mommy. I give him a hug.

Tammy then open a gift from Wendy. It is a picture of the family.

Next Lily opens a gift from Tammy. It is a calender that let's her know what is going on with the baby ever month of Tammy's pregnancy.

Lucy opens a gift from Lily. It is a makeup kit.

Reese then opens a gift from Wendy. It is a basketball.

Finally with help from me Dylen opens a gift from Lucy. It is a toy train.

The next morning the kids wake up and go look at their gifts from Santa. Santa treated them really good this year. They got everything they asked for for christmas. Which included a picture of a kid that Lucy decided that she wanted to help for Christmas. She had asked Santa to get him lots of toys. The boy in the picture has gifts all around him.

That night at dinner Wendy's sister and her boys come over. We have a lovely dinner. Then they go and open all of the gifts. Tammy and I pass all the gifts out. We then sit down infront of our gifts. We all open one at the same time and then do the same with the rest.

After we are done I grab my guitar and sit infront of Wendy. I start singing,

I put my guitar down and get on one knee. I get a box out of my pocket and open it. Wendy's eyes go big when she sees the ring.

I say, " Babe I love you more then anything in this world. I love how you have let me become a mom to the kids. I love the life we have but I want to take the next step. Will you make me the happiest person ever and be my wife?"

" Yes baby girl yes."

I pick her up and we start making out. Everyone cheers. I can't believe she said yes. I feel like I am the luckiest person alive.
