As I stood silently behind you,
Music playing down the street,
My happiness filtered out of me.
My evening was ruined
By one unfaithful happening. Her lips on yours,
A dagger through my heart.
What was I to do?
I just stood there and watched.Happiness has no meaning
To those who are kind.
It is merely a creation
Forged from hope
To harm those daring enough
To feel it.I staggered away,
My hope evaporated.
A life of promise
Revealed as a lie.Deception is a magic,
Blessed upon good people
To welcome them to a world
Where the soulless survive
And the great die young.
