Forgiveness

"Yeah well at least your x best friend won't be caught kissing it."

When those words left my mouth I knew I was in trouble. No one in my family know what really happened they just know I am super mad at Julian. My mom dropped her spoon and Julian's mouth dropped open and his eyes got big. I don't know what to do so I walk out of the kitchen and head to my room. I know all my brothers heard that because I didn't just say it I yelled it really loud. As I walk I pass all my brothers. They all have identical faces so sorry and fear. I get a few pats on my back but I just shrug them off. When I finally reach my room I slam my door as loud as possible in my dead silent house and lean up against my door and slide down it. I know it is cliche but it really fits how I feel. I sit there shaking and trying not my cry. There are a few knocks on my door but no one tries to enter. I bring my head to my knees and sigh. I should just forgive him. The rest of my family doesn't deserve this drama. With that idea I get up and open my door once more. It has been an hour since the incident. I walk across the hall and knock on the door. It is Julian's room.

"Yes?" He asks. His voice sounds a little scratchy. I feel instant regret about not forgiving him when I hear his voice.

"It's me." I say. I don't even have to say my name since besides my mom I am the only girl in the house. I hear Julian walk across the room. He opens the door. Before he can open it to far I barge in and hug him. He goes stiff for a second before hugging me back, "I'm sorry. I am the worst sister ever." I mumble into his shoulder so loud enough so he can hear.

"No. I am the worst brother I shouldn't have done that to you." He says. I sigh letting go of him.

"Lets just agree we are both the worst and forgive each other. Okay?" I say holding out my hand.

"Deal." He says and shakes back.

~*~*~*

I'm sitting in English next to Kian. Kian has been sitting by me at lunch every day. It is nice having someone sit with me we have become pretty good friends.

"Okay class, I am going to assign you partners for a group project." My teacher ,Mrs. Able, says as she scans the room, "Actually you are all good pairs with your table partners so go ahead and have them be your partner for this one. I look at Kian with a smile on my face holding up my hand for him to highfive. He looks at me equally exited and fist bumps my hand

"Turkey!" He says.

"You are like a 5 year old you know that?" I say with a little laugh.

"I am not!" He says puffing out his chest and crosses his arms with fake anger. I pat him on the head and turn back to the teacher who just finished handing out handouts for us all to read.

"This project will be do next Friday." She says then sits down at her desk. I turn to my planner next Friday is homecoming Friday. I love homecoming week because I get to be a cheerleader again before basketball season starts. I don't actually cheer for the football game but I do all of the pep rallies and cheer in the parade since I am a part of the cheer squad. I smile a little.

"So, next week is really busy for me. Do you want to be an over achiever and start the project today?" I ask. I know Kian is on the football team so I know he probably worried for the game against our rivals even though he doesn't get the rivalry like Clipper does. I also have been going to cheer practices everyday for the last two weeks getting ready for it.

"Yeah. How about after my football practice. Is your house okay?" Kian says. I don't know if Kian knows that I live a little out of town and that I am a cheerleader but I nod.

"Yeah I have practice as well you can give me a ride home then!" I say happily knowing I don't have to beg one of the girls from my team to drop me off since the bus doesn't wait for us.

"Sounds good meet you by the front door." He says as the bell rings.

~*~*~

I wipe sweat off my of my forehead and grab a drink of water. Whoever said cheer leading was easy was lying. We just got done running 20 laps around the gym sure we had upbeat music to keep us happy but that doesn't mean I wasn't dying. Our cheer leading coach doesn't mess with us we run laps and lift weights and we can't complain or we have to run more. I like it though.

"HEY GET OFF YOUR BUTTS GIRLS I WANT YOU TO DO 100 SIT UPS EACH!" My coach yells from the other end of the gym. I try think about the abs I'll have by the end of this as I find a partner to hold my my feet. I pick Cristina, she is the team captain right now and she is a perfect choice since I don't have any bad history friend wise with her.

"Hey Cris want to be my partner?" I ask while patting her on the shoulder.

"Sure thing Fea! We can do this!" I lay on the ground and put my hand behind my head and begin. 1, 2, 3, 4.....

.....

....

"Nintey-nine ONE HUNDRED!" Cristina yells. I smile out of breath.

"Oh my gosh Fea I cannot believe you did them that fast!" She says exitedly. I did 100 sit-ups in two minutes.

"Thanks. I am going to be sore tomorrow." I say hold my stomach catching my breath, "Your turn!"

~*~*~

I walk out of the locker room with my sport bag hung over my shoulder. I switched my jeans with sweatpants after I showered after practice. I hope Kian doesn't mind. I walk down the hall to the front door and I see Kian's figure waiting for me.

"Ready to be over achievers?" I ask.

"Totally!" He says with smile as we walk to his car.

Hey guys! This chapter was a little longer! I hope you liked it! In the next one you'll get some one on one Kian and Fiona action! Yay! :) Anyway sorry for not uploading over the weekend! My sister got married and I had NO time to do anything! I didn't even do my homework and as a proud nerd that was hard for me anyway I hope to upload more over the holiday! :)
