I walk out history, with a faint smile on my face due to a package at my front door step. Inside the box is a bottle of red dye that lasts for threeish days. I got it because Stacy, my friend who fell for my TWIN brother, cannot see the color red. When she sees it she sees brown. I plan on acting all sweet and forgiving to her to go to her house then I am going to fill her shampoo bottle with it. I chuckle a little.
"Why are you so happy?" I hear, James, my annoying freshman brother asks. I look at him my smile instantly falls.
"I don't know Clipper? Why am I so happy?" I ask rhetorically.
"Why in the world do you KEEP calling me that?! I cut my hair badly once when I was 7!" James says annoyed.
"Because I'm your older sister, I can , and your cute when you do that." I say holding up three fingers. James just rolls his eyes, like his "girlfriend" and walks away. I really don't know what's going on with them but, she is always around and she rolls her eyes at everything anyone says but James. Which I guess is cute if you think about but my freshman brother dating? I can't see that quite yet.
~*~*~*~
I am currently messaging her, Stacy, on Facebook trying to 'apologize' about being so mean to her on vacation. Even though I am still super mad about it. We already have plans to hang out at her house on Saturday just a day away. She's going to hate me forever! I smirk at this taught. It is ruined when I hear three knocks at my bedroom door. I groan rolling my head back in agony while getting off of my really comfy spot on my twin sized bed. I sluggishly walk to my door and open my door. John, my 15 year old brother, is at my door with his hands in his pockets nervously. I just stare at him with a questioning look. John and I are not close. At all. It's not like we fight constantly we just don't talk to each other. I mean he is only a sophomore while I am a junior so it isn't like we are that far apart from each other age wise. All I know is we used to be close but the moment I went to high school he just stopped talking to me. I never pushed the subject.
"I need a ride." Is all he says at first. I motion my hand as if to say 'keep going kid' , " to a party." he adds after a few seconds.
"Why don't you ask Marcus or Julian?" I ask. He just shrugs. I shrug too then grab my jacket with my keys in it and walk out of my room. I don't drive to school because it's kind of far away, I don't see the point when and almost empty bus takes me everyday, and I hate spending gas money. My car is this silver cheap little piece of junk car that my dad got from a garage sale. I'm not kidding he bought it at a garage sale last summer and I was the only one who decided to vacuum it out and drive it. So it is mine no one else cares about it. We get out of the car and drive into town. We don't live too far out of town but it is enough to call it the country. Once we drive by the Walmart I ask,
"So where is this party exactly?" John looks embarrassed as he folds his hands in lap.
"At school." I says quietly. I lean in a little trying to hear him. I totally heard him. Why would there be a party at school? Knowing John it is probably a study session or something.
"What?" I ask holding back a smile.
"AT School" He says a little louder. I laugh at his reaction. Then turn at the next stop light.
