The Proof I Needed

Prologue

I had just pulled into the driveway for a Friday night dinner with my girlfriend. But I walked in to find my girlfriend kissing another girl.

The other girl had just run out of the apartment in haste not making eye contact with me.

"Jenn I can explain-" she started

"You've done this three other times before how do you expect me to keep trusting you?" I yelled at her

"It was a mistake. I won't do it again Jenn!" She held onto my arm as I stuffed my belongings into my duffle bag.

We had been together for three months now and all she's done is cheat behind my back. With two different people. Luckily we hadn't moved in with each other yet, so I only had a couple of things at her apartment.

"Jenn please!!" She blocked the door

"It's over. Don't call me. Don't follow me." I pulled her out of the way and slammed the door behind me.
