Two Days Later
Monday, December 14th

I woke up to my phone's alarm going off. I quickly silenced it, but Hayley had already woken up. "Sorry babe."

"Mmm why so early." She hugged my side and I kissed her forehead

"I promised Alex I would open shop today."

"You're gonna leave me all day?" She said pouting

"Sorry Hayles. But good news this Wednesday the two new workers we hired are starting full time then and I'll have more time for you." I said rubbing her back

"Can I come with you?"

"To work?" She nodded "Alex might pester you about dating me. Not that he'd come out and say it but he'd still make you miserable."

"I'll be fine. I'll just hang around and talk with the customers who are waiting and-"

"Oh no ya don't. There's some shade girlfriend stealers that come in my shop. You ain't talking with them. I want you all to myself babe." I said holding her tighter

"Aww thanks babe. I was just kidding. No way I want to get caught up with a girlfriend stealer."

"Get dressed I wouldn't like it if people were looking at your sexy ass all day." I said referring to her short shorts

She smirked at me and started to put some clothes on. "Hey Hayles I-" I turned to see Hayley putting on one of my shirts. It was really long on her on account of my tall torso.

I busted out laughing "Hayles y'all so smol."

"Am not!" She said putting some jeans on along with my shirt

"You're still adorable." I slipped on one of her oversized hoodies, that was normal sized on me, and a pair of my jeans.

We walked downstairs and ate a quick bowl of cereal. "I'll meet you in the car. I forgot my meds." I said as Hayley put on her shoes.

She nodded and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. I smiled and downed my pills. I've been feeling alright lately but definitely sleeping more from the drowsiness. I was alright to drive but at work I would sometimes need a power nap between customers.

I ran outside and hopped in the drivers seat. "Let's go!" I said turning the key in the ignition.

***** 8:20 am still Monday December 14th

I unlocked the back door of the shop and led Hayley inside. "This place is sick!" She said looking at all the decorations

I showed her my little private office and she sat in my rolling chair.

"Did you design this?" She said pointing to my sketch book. I looked closer and it was my drawing of a cute little ghost with some lyrics from Misguided Ghosts.

I nodded my head slightly embarrassed.

"It's adorable. I love it!" She said still looking at my open page.

She started to turn the page when I quickly closed it. "It's a secret." I said giving her a smirk

"Lemme see babe!" She said whining

"Soon." I winked at her and put it away in the top draw.

I hear knocking at the front of the store. "Coming!" I yelled

I jogged to open the door and Alex stepped in with a hat on and a jumper on "Hey bro!" He said taking off his jumper and hat.

"Hayley's here today." I said quietly
