I woke up to Austin's alarm going off. He turned the alarm off and smiled down at me, "Morning."

I was still cuddled up to his side, "I don't wanna get up."

He sniffled a laugh, "I know how you feel."

I sighed, "So what about my dream?"

Austin carefully ran his hand through my hair, "I don't know right now but I'll figure something out."

I looked up at him, "Are you sure?"

he nuzzled my neck a little playfully, "I'm sure we can find some way to help."

I let out a small giggle, "That tickles."

Jasmyne opened his door, "Austin hurry up we are going to be late." She completely ignored me.

"Ugh fine." We both got out of bed.

After Austin walked out of the bathroom with clean clothes on he looked at me, "We'll have to stop by your place so you can get some clothes."

I gave him a confused look, "What happened to it being a bad place to go?"

He brushed his dark hair out of his face, "I wouldn't be taking you back if it wasn't necessary, and you have five minutes to get what you need and get out."

Now I really was confused, "What? Why? Am I going to die in there?"

He smiled, "Karlee, you'll be fine, Its just that I have a gut feeling there is something up with your house."

I shrugged, "Okay."

When we got to the living room Austin kind of yelled, "Jasmyne, if you don't hurry up I'm leaving without you."

Jasmyne ran into the living room and out the door without stopping.

We followed her to Austin's car. I got in the passengers seat and silently stared out the window.

Jasmyne went on and on about random subjects that a six year old would talk about. But why would a six year old talk about college?

Austin parked the car in my driveway. He looked at me, "If your not out in five minutes, I WILL drag you out."

As I got out of the car Jasmyne asked, "Why are we stopping here?"

When I got inside everything looked normal. I tried to turn on the lights, but the switch wouldn't work. As I walked into my room I noticed it was about thirty degrees.

I quickly changed and started looking for a hoodie. When I opened my closet I felt like someone was watching me.

I turned around, but no one was there. I dug through my closet. I looked everywhere and found nothing.

In slowly closed the closet door. A small voice rang through the air. The voice was quiet but harsh, "Young and weak. Victims are to easy."

My mind was filled with thoughts that weren't mine. The temperature went from freezing to boiling. A hand brushed my side.

I turned around hoping it was Austin. A tall shadowy figure stood in front of me. It had NO physical features at all. You could barley see the figure at all.

I screamed as loud as I could. There was a fiery feeling in my lungs that made it hard to breathe.

The figure whispered, "Not yet but soon." It then disappeared.

Austin ran into the room pulling me against him.

I slowed my breathing down.

He looked at me, "What happened, I heard you scream? Why is it so fucking cold?"
