When we caught up to the guys, they were retracing our steps to find room six. Austin was still upset because of what happened, but he was okay.

On the way back to room six we found room seven.

We finally found room six again the room was just a concrete room. The women from earlier stood in the room. She smiled, "Your almost done what a surprise."

Lance looked at her, "What do you want?"

She answered, "I want you to know the truth."

Charlie gulped, "What truth?"

She pointed at Macey, "You, my sweet girl are the most looked down upon in your family. No one wants you, your parents can't stand you because of your girlfriend." She turned to Lance, "You act strong but inside you just a five year old backed up in the corner crying cause your shattered and scared." She looked at Charlie, "You could be the best scientist the world has ever seen but you refuse to be." She glared at me, "You, your worthless. You don't need to be here there's no point to it and NO BODY cares about you." She smiled at Austin, "Austin, you are an angel, that's why your mom had to die. You're not evil in anyway, shape, form, or fashion you're the most innocent person EVER."

After that she was gone.

We didn't worry about what she said. Lance spent the entire walk back mocking the women. Charlie tried to get phone service. Macey dragged her fingers across the rigid concrete walls. I hummed the Freddie Kruger theme song. Austin walked beside me with his hands in his pockets."

Austin looked at me, "Do you think I could really be a angel?"

I shrugged, "Considering I'm a demon, yeah."

When we got to room seven a frozen image of mist or something was all that was in there. The doors slammed shut and the image played.

The first video thing was in a graveyard and the tomb stone had my name on it... with today's date on it.

The second video was Macey's wedding with her girlfriend. She looked older in the image though.

The third image was Lance playing football for a professional team.

The forth one was Austin skate boarding at a competition then his girlfriend, I think, hugging him in congratulations.

The last video was Charlie in a science lab building a robot.

After the images were gone we went to the room that was labeled eight the woman pointed out earlier.

When we got in the room Kyle was talking to a tall man in a dark jeans and a black shirt with dancing skeletons on it.

Kyle greeted, "Karlee, meet Lucifer, your dad."

Lucifer smiled, "Your free to leave I just came to offer a deal. If Karlee comes with me she won't 'die'."

Austin snapped, "Not a chance."

A black flame danced in Lucifer's eyes, "Shut up, Angel, if she comes with me there won't be a funeral and you won't have to see your girlfriend gutted like a fish."

I stepped forward, "I'm going."

Austin grabbed my wrist, "Karlee, don't I can't loose you. You don't deserve this."

I looked at him, "I'm sorry, but I just want to get this over with and not die a painful death."

Austin kissed me, "I love you."

Lucifer nodded, "I thought so." He snapped his fingers and only me, Lucifer, and Kyle remained in the room.

Kyle gave me a pleading look, "Why, I warned you? Why didn't you listen to me? You had a chance of living."

I shook my head, "It's to late now."

Lucifer looked at him, "You, of all people, should be happy."

Kyle argued, "It's not right you can't sell your daughter out, wait I mean 'promise' her to people. You own Hell where all the bad people go. She doesn't deserve this. I'm the one who had to kill her mom, now I get to show her around the WORST place to be."

Lucifer rolled his eyes, "You should still be happy, and she owns part of Hell now so it won't be like it was for other demons."

The room turned into a darker version of the world. The trees were on fire and a blood moon was the source of light other than torches.

Kyle led me to a room in the black brick mansion.

The room was lit up with a rainbow flame lights. A full size bed was across from a 72'' inch flat screen.

I looked at Kyle, "What was that argument about?"

Kyle sat on the bed, "Your dad promised you to me. That means if I want you to do something no matter what it is you have to do it. It was for killing your mom. The ONLY reason I agreed to this was because I won't ask you to do anything, I'm not that kind of person.... well demon."

I sat down next to him, "I trust you. I just wish I didn't have to leave Austin."

He looked at me, "Sense we have nothing else to do  I'm going to help you with your powers."

The dragon that tried to kill me ran into the room. It rubbed up against my leg.

I petted it's head, "Last time I saw you, you almost killed me.

Kyle picked him up laying him on the bed, "Karlee, meet Sparky. He's a pedigree dragon, it's kinda like the world's dog. Sparky only tried to kill you because of Lucifer."

I smiled, "Aw he's kind of cute when he's not trying to kill me. Who does he belong to?

He looked at me, "He's yours, don't you remember?"

Sparky rolled over, "My imaginary dragon from when I was five... no fucking way."

That night I fell asleep next to Kyle with Sparky at the foot of the bed.

That night I went it sleep thinking I'd NEVER see Austin again. It took every bit of courage I had to leave Austin but I had to, I love him and hope he knows that... But little did he know I'd be able to see him again.
