Watching the glow of a soft light on the darkest night,
the candle's flickering flames in perfect rhythm to the blood flowing inside your veins,
snuggling under the cover with arms wrapped tightly around your lover,
taking your time to open the pages that take you to far away places,
you grasp her hand tight because she is easy to fright,
she puts her fears blame upon your name,
your stomach begins to flutter as from her mouth angry words are uttered,
her temper rages so you quickly turn more pages until the story changes,
seeing the fight in her eyes turn into delight in this moment everything is right,
the last page is turned as upon her back both your hands you lay knowing this is the very best way to end every day.
