Battery:

Here are some things you will find useful when it comes to saving your iPod/iPhone/iPad's batteries.

1. iBattery

This app is helpful when it comes to checking your battery life. By clicking the tiny information button displayed as "i" on the right corner you may select wether your device is an:

- iPad Wi-fi

- iPad Wi-fi + 3G

- iPhone

- iPhone 3G

- iPhone 3Gs

- iPhone 4

- iPod Touch 1G

- iPod Touch 2G

- iPod Touch 3G

- iPod Touch 4G

And then it's able to show your battery life in percentage. For example:

95%

(of battery left)

And tells you how much Video playbacks and audio playback (and more) it resists.

It also displays a picture of a battery filled in green for how much it has, and red of how much is used up.

Now you can calculate your battery life more proffessionally.

To download: Home>App Store>Search>"iBattery">Free>Install

2. Screen Brightness

Here's something you should know. The more bright your screen is, the more battery it drains. So set it a bit less than half for more battery usage.

To set: Home>Settings>Brightness

** TIP **

If you're that kind of person that likes their screen bright, try setting it the LOWEST it can go and stare at it for a bit. It'll appear quite dark to you but look at it for a while and then set the screen brightness just a bit higher (no more than half), and it'll appear bright to you once again.

3. Auto-Brightness

By turning on auto-brightness, it enables your device to turn the screen darker to save battery when you haven't touched it for a long time. This is helpful if you like your screen quite bright.

To set: Home>Settings>Brightness>Auto-Brightness On/Off

4. Hibernate

By pressing the Sleep or On/Off button, you get to save battery when you're not using it. Don't just leave it to do it itself.

To set: The Sleep button is located at the top of your device

5. Airplane Mode

By turning on the "airplane mode" on your device, you are turning off features like Wi-fi and Bluetooth. This saves you quite the energy. Although, if you really want your Wi-fi, set your device to Airplane mode and turn on Wi-fi.

To set: Home>Settings>Airplane Mode On/Off

Then to turn on Wi-fi: Home>Settings>Wi-fi>On>(select wi-fi connection)

That's it for "Battery!"
