Secrets:
1. CAP LOCKS ON
Sometimes you want to write all in capitals. But you keep pressing that Up arrow "^" button. All you have to do to keep WRITING IN CAPITALS is tap the capital button (the "^" arrow) twice quickly and it will turn blue. Now you can type in ALL CAPITALS. After you're done, just tap the capitals button again and it will go to normal.
2. Scrolling Up
Sometimes you read things that are long and you scroll all the way to the bottom, making it impossible to scroll back up under 2 seconds. Well now it's possible! Just tap the time on the very top (where the battery, time, wi-fi connection, and device name is displayed) and it will automatically scroll all the way up back to the beginning!
3. Organize Apps
Now you can keep your apps organized in ONE folder! Just hold on an icon till it starts shaking and drag the icon onto another and it creates a folder. Now tap that folder and click the name to rename it to suit your needs.
Each folder holds up to 12 apps.
4. Screenshots
A popular trick that everyone knows is how to take screen shots of whatever you're doing. But i'm gonna say it anyway. All you have to do to take screenshots is to press the "Sleep/Power" button and the "Home" button at the same time and you'll hear a "SNAP" and the screen will flash white. This means the screen shot was taken. Not it is saved to your pictures in "Camera Roll".
To view screenshots: Home>Photos>Camera Roll/Photo Library
**NOTE**
If you are having trouble taking screen shots, try holding the "Home" button slightly first than the Sleep/Power button. If that doesn't work do the other way around or keep trying.
5. Multi-Task and Restarting Apps
Now you can use several apps at the same time! Just press the "Home" button twice and view the apps you've opened. If you slide all the way to the left, you'll see Music controls and volume control.
To restart and app, all you have to do is press the "Home" button twice to view the apps you've opened and hold the icon till it starts shaking. Now press the minus "-" sign to close the app and delete it from the open apps.
** NOTE **
Erasing an app from the multi-tasking menu does not DELETE your app from the Home menu, it just closes the app. So make sure you save, if you are closing a game that requires saving.
6. Voice Control
Now you can control your music by voice! Just hold the "Home button" for a few seconds until a blue screen comes up. Then you can say commands like
"Play songs by Usher"
"Play 'DJ Got Us Falling in Love"
"Stop music"
From the palm of your hands!
**NOTE**
Voice control only works to control music commands, not things like running apps or shut down. Although, it does have a command for "FaceTime" (for iPod touch 4G, iPhone 3G/4G and iPad users)
That's all (for now) in "Secrets!"
