I woke with a growling stomach, so I got up and headed into the kitchen for some food. When I walked in, Jack was passed out on the couch, his mouth hanging wide open and his hand dangling off of the edge of the couch. I held back a light giggle and made myself a sandwich. I made one for Mark and Jack just in case they woke up hungry.

*big ol' time skip brought to you by Mark's left elbow (don't question me)*

Two months had flown by in the blink of an eye. We went to Ohio for the days leading up to Christmas, and then stayed for Christmas itself. I had promised Mark I would spend Christmas at his house since he spent Thanksgiving at mine. Mom wasn't very happy.

We didn't get each other anything big for Christmas, Mark got me a promise ring and I got him a few shirts and all the stuff from the convention. What do you even get guys for Christmas anyway? We were happy, I met his family, he was doing phenomenal health wise, everything was looking up.

I sat criss-cross on the couch on an early February morning, sipping on my apple cider and looking around the quiet room. I occasionally heard Mark's booming voice, since he was recording a video. I smiled to myself and thought about all the possibilities in life. Getting a different job, buying a new house, maybe marrying Mark. Having kids? Who knows? The future was looking bright, and that made me happy. After about fifteen minutes of thinking to myself, Mark walked into the kitchen.

"Hey Mark."

"Hm?"

"What's your opinion on children?"

"They're ok, why?" he answered with his head in the fridge.

"No I mean like kids of our own." When I said that, I heard a loud thud and something clatter to the ground.

"Ow."

He must've hit his head on the fridge. What a goofball. I giggled on the couch and waited for his response.

"Did-uh something happen? You aren't uh- "

"No Mark I'm not pregnant." I chuckled "I was just wondering where your mind is."

"We're still pretty young..."

"In the future."

"Yes. I would love to start a family with you, (y/n). There is no one else on this earth who I'd rather start a family with." his voice was shaky and he sounded nervous.

"There was no right or wrong answer Mark, it's ok."

"I know, I know. Just the thought right now makes me feel so old."

"I understand."

He finally walked from out of the kitchen and into the living room where I was sitting. He had a bowl of grapes and he he was plucking them out one by one with his opposite hand. I rested my head back on the sofa and stared contently at the ceiling.

"So what are your thoughts about being in a video with me?" he blatantly asked

"Mark we both know my answer. People will know."

"Well what's wrong with that? What if I want people to know?"

I brought my head up and gazed at him. The light from the patio door reflected upon his eyes, turning them from deep brown to a light gold.

"Are you sure you want to do something like that?"

"I've been thinking it over since the day of the convention when we decided to split up, and look where that got me." he playfully motioned to his side with a grin. "I don't want to hide it, (y/n). There were days when I thought I had really lost you, my videos were dry and pathetic, and I had to make excuses for them every single time."
