CHAPTER 16

DAY 16/69

"Hello, what flavour would you like? " the cashier girl asked the two of us and I looked at the menu for the perfect drink that I have been craving for .

"Hey Jimin , since its quite humid right now let's drink some grass jelly milk tea with pearls shall we? " I nudged him and he smiled," alright,  give us 2 grass jelly milk tea, thank you. "

"That would be $5.60 sir. You two are such a cute couple. "She complemented and I blushed.

Jimin handed her the money and we found a seat by the window waiting for our drink, at the corner of my eyes,  I  saw two familiar figures.

"What are you looking at? "Jimin asked and curiously looked at the direction i was looking at,  "what the fuck. " he muttered under his breath.

"He must have heard me asking you to go out for some bubble tea earlier on. "He continued and I realised that Anna made an eye contact with Jimin and he immediately turned and looked down.

"Hey jimin baby." Anna batted her eyelashes and her hands slit up to his waist and backhugged him, kissing him on the lips in front of my face.

Jungkook looked pissed off as he yanked Anna off, I made eyecontact with Jimin and he smiled sheepishly, right...  he doesn't know that she's cheating on him.

"Hey kookie let's join them shall we. The more the merrier. " Anna said and gladly took the seat beside Jimin while Jungkook sat beside me.

The situation now was so awkward and no one was talking,  luckily the drink arrived at the very moment and Jimin and I gladly took the milk tea from the waitress, however before I could put my hands on the milk tea, someone else 's hand got it first,  Anna beamed as if she just hit jackpot.

"How sweet of you , Jimin!  You got me a drink already! " she smirks at me but Jimin just kept his cool , giving a straight face .

I made an excuse to get out of the place as it was too weird, argh.  Jimin was supposed to be mine for a day ! Now what am I supposed to do? 

"Cassandra, wait up!! "

I turned back and saw a running Jungkook .

"What. " I said coldly.

"Lets go ice skating. " he grabs my arm and brought us to the nearest skating rink that was just conveniently a street across the bubble tea shop .

He payed for the skating shoes and gloves, as I went in,  the cold wind brushed through my face and I shivered,  he took off his thick coat and wrapped it on me.

"Thanks. "

We got our shoes and I put them on, "erm jungkook? "

"Yea ." He says but still focus on typing his shoelaces, "I don't know how to ice skate. "

"You serious? " he looked at me surprised, "yep."

"Its fine ,I'll teach you. " he flashed a genuine smile at me and I melt at that.

He gently grabbed me by the hand as he leads me into the ice skating rink,  my feets shook and I froze on the spot,how was I supposed to move?  What if I fall?  Will it hurt alot? I had a million questions on my mind but Jungkook cutted through my thoughts,  "just hold my hand and have your legs shaped like a V.  Move your left leg slightly as if you are walking first,  and then your right leg continues the motion. " he guided me.

I did as what he said and I moved probably only 5 cm,  however once i shifted my left foot, my right foot lost its control and I almost fell, luckily i grabbed onto a metal railing fast enough.

Jungkook chuckled.

"Cmon holding onto the railings are boring ,hold onto my hand! " he giggled like a little kid and dragged me to the middle of the rink,  he skated like a professional and even did a spin which attracted many girls in the rink,  argh, typical him acting like a professional .

Is there anything he cant do?!

"Jungkook ah!! " I shouted.
He immediately skated towards me.

"Teach me! " I clapped my hands. 

"Alright, like what I said earlier,  your legs; v shape. " he started and I did that,  I found myself unconciously moving forward without myself knowing.

"Okay here's the key point,  if you don't want to fall, you need to continue the motion,  you have to be fearless too, you can't be scared of the ice. So apparently , when your left leg is in contact with the ice,  you should lift your right leg up as if you are going to walk. When you feel that you are slowing down , you should continue the same motion and you should be able to skate again . " He says and I felt really stupid not understanding.

He demostrated it once for me and I kinda got the hang of it, "I'm doing it! " I exclaimed and felt proud of myself.

"Hey you are a fast learner , see! " he spins again and the girls squeals.

"Can... can we skate together? "I asked him smiling sheepishly.

"I don't see why not! " he beamed and held onto my hand,  we glided on the ice but one of my shoelace fell out and I tripped, falling onto the ice.  When I fell, I dragged Jungkook down with me and he landed ontop of me, our lips touched.

I pushed him off but because he was so strong,  he managed to keep himself on me still, "let's stay like this for awhile. " he hushed me and kissed me again.

I froze.

Why is my heart beating so fast??? A blush crept to my cheeks and I feel it hot, burning hot even though I'm in contact with the ice.

Am I falling in love with...him?
