Your Nature

Bleeding

And you didn't even care.
The way a drop of blood
Would touch a surface
And then suddenly, a ripple effect.

How many times
Do I have to listen?
Your words, a direct stab,
Much more painful than punches.

Just like the surface of water
It was calm.
Then another drop falls,
And it disrupts everything.

It will always happen
That I know of.
Because it's nature.
It's your nature.

It's your nature to hurt people.
Like  a tidal wave that destroys,
You destroy
And we're destroyed.

But somehow, anything destroyed, heals.
And people stand back up.
But you don't.
Because destruction itself happens.

And happens, and happens again.
It never stops.
And how sad must it be
For you to never stop.

For you to cause so many tidal waves,
So much pain,
And yet, you never learn,
You'll never move on.

It'll be your endless cycle
It'll be your own prison:
Hurt and hurt again
Teaching people to stand in the end.
