KYREE CASH
CHAPTER 9

"I told you Rahlexi, I did not want an SSCE! However, you ignored my wishes and hired one anyway.... One that I don't even like." I stated loosening my tie, while riding home in our limo. My sister and I are very close. We live together in a mansion secluded from others. That's, how close we are.

"Oh, shut up Ree! You don't like anyone! You are the most stubborn nigga I have ever known." Rahlexi said, her creole accent coming out.

When at work, she tries to cover it by sounding more sophisticated . She tries talking polite like people don't recognize how strong the words she says is. However, you can tell I'm from New Orleans. Before the big time company, my mother and father were some fast teens in New Orleans.

When they were 18 they had me. They had Lexi a year later. My dad was in the game getting money for his college tuition. When he finished college he tried to stay in the game  but when he realized how he was putting us in danger, we moved to New York and he started a big company with his business degree.

So, my sister and I aren't some naïve and stuck up people. People think I am but I just don't like people so I don't really give a damn what they think about KYREE Cash. They not paying my bills.

My sister? She's more down to earth and you could say that she is a social butterfly. That's why I let her have the job of talking, hiring, and meeting with the staff or customers because if it was my job, I would be an asshole... Which some think I already am.

My job, is doing all the paper work and closing deals with our fellow business partners. That is why, Lexi felt the need to hire a SSCE, grant them 25% of the company and help me out. Although, I always tell her I don't need help, she says, "Ree, you bury yourself in work and you barely even take a break. You will work from home or the office. Your going to stress yourself out. So, when I find the perfect SSCE, you can be more... Available."

She treats me like I'm going to have a heart attack at anytime.

"Ree..." She said softly, looking at me.

I looked up from the bar graph on my tablet, that told me the percentage of investments we have made over the last two years. "Yes, Lex?" I said.

"Do you miss daddy? Like, I never hear you speak about him. I feel like I'm the only one grieving over his death. I miss him Ky. Oh, and mom. You don't speak about her either. I mean I know your upset that she up and left us after he passed. But, you still don't speak about her." She said, small tears screaming to escape her eyelids.

I shut my eyes tight and pursed my lips. Something I seemed to do when I don't want to talk about a certain subject, and my parents are definitely not a subject I want to visit. But, my sister needs me and I'm going to be there for her.
