Lilly walks into the office. She is met by a secratary at a huge desk.
"Hello, how may I help you?"
The secratary asks Lilly and her Grandmother, Rhonda."We have an appointment, its under Gordon." Rhonda answers.
"Let me see. Ah yes. Lilly Anne Gordon, right?"
"Thats me." Lilly answered for her Grandmother.
"It says here that you found your parents dead."
"Yes. That is true." Rhond fills in.
"Oh my. I'm so sorry hun."
"Can we please just see someone?" Rhonda snaps.
"Oh yes, right. You have Doctor Tom Bradley as yiur siciatrist. Please take a seat, Doctor Bradley is in a meeting at the moment. Don't worry, he won't be long."
"Thank you, miss." Lilly answered for her grandmother.
They both walked to a long tow of chairs and sat down. About 20 minutes later, Doctor Bradley came out of his meeting.
"Hey Faith, wanna go to a movie or something sometime?"
"Uhhhhh, Doctor Bradley you have a patient. To answer your question, I..... would love to."
"Oh, a patient. Lets see her files."
"Here you go, sir."
"Hmmm, oh my, she found her parents dead!!!"
"Yes, sir. She did, and she is only 8 years old."
"My, my, my. That poor girl. Her name is.... Lilly Anne Gordon. Wait, as in the daughter of Jessica and Adam Gordon?"
"I think so. You'll have to ask her, sir. Lilly, Doctor Bradley is ready to see you now."
"Hello Lilly Anne, I'm Doctor Bradley."
"I perfer being called Lilly, thank you." She snapped.
"Lilly stop being rude. You weren't raised that way."
"Its okay Lilly, we are going to take good care of you." Tom chimmed in.
"Lets get started then." Rhonda said, clapping her hands together.
He led the two down a long corridor with room on each side, some doors were open, but kids quickly closed them once they saw Lilly. They made it to a door in the middle of the corridor, that had some little flowers in the bottom corner.
"Who is those flowers for?" Lilly asked.
"Well, your name is Lilly so the secratary thought you would like some lillys in front of your door." Tom answered.
"They're quiet pretty, right Lilly?" Rhonda said.
"Yes, they are very pretty. Sadly, lillys are not my favorite flower." Lilly replied.
"What is your favorite flower then?" Tom asked.
"I like lilacs. Even the name is beautiful."
"That is right, they are fairly beautiful." Rhonda added.
"Alrighty then. I guess we will switch these lillys with lilacs."
"Thank you sir."
"I'm sorry Lilly, but I have to go. My boss just texted me, he says I have to be there asap. Bye honey, have fun, make friends, and I will visit when I can." Rhonda budded in.
"Bye grandma, love you."
"Love you to, honey."
Rhonda kissed Lilly's for head and waved good bye. Once she was out of the hallway, Lilly felt nervous. What if she didn't make lots of friends? What if something bad happened? What if grandma died? What if grandma for got about her? Questions swirled around and around her head. She was so scared, and nervouse, and excited at the same time.
"Lets go in, shall we?" Tom asked, stopping the questions swirl.
"We shall." Lilly smiled as Tom opened the door.
Lilly was in awe. The room was medium sized, it had a small cage for a type of animal, a small bed with yellow and pink sheets, and a window above the bedside table. The left wall was painted to look like a sunrise, a closet door was able to be seen in the middle of the mural. Lilly walked in a twirled in a circle.
"I love it!!" She yelled.
"I'm glad. Get settled, our session begins in a moment." Tom stated.
"Okay, I'll be done by then."
"The secratary will come get you when we can begin."
Lilly opened the spacious closet, she hung her dresses in the closet neatly. One by one the dresses filled the closet, when she was finished the closet only looked about half full. Lilly closed the door and walked to her bed, she took her favorite stuffed lion, called Leon, out of her purple unicorn backpack and put him in front of the pillow.
"Lilly Anne Gordon come to Doctor Bradley's office. Lilly Anne Gordon come to Doctor Bradley's office."
Lilly plopped her back down and walked dow the long hallway. It seemed lonley with everyones door closed. Lilly made it to the secratary's desk, she looked quite busy, and Lilly did not want to disturb her. Unfortunately, she had to because she didn't know where Doctor Bradley's office was, so she asked for directions.
"E-excuse me, could you direct me to Doctor Bradley's office please?" Lilly said in a horse voice.
The secratary looked up, "Oh yes, of course, down that way. The last door on the right."
"Thank you, miss." Lilly replied.
