Its been 2 weeks since the lion incident. Lilly stepped out of the padded wall room with more hatred for the person who decapitated Leon than she entered. Lilly walked out slowley with her head hanging down, her hair was a mess and she didn't get much sleep.
"Oh Lilly, I'm so glad your out. You are my only true friend here, aren't you happy your out?" Shelby said as Lilly walked down the corridor.
"Of course I am. That place was hell."
"Lilly! Your only 8, no cuss words."
"Hell isn't a cuss word, its in the Bible."
"I see Leon is fixed up."
"Ya. Not as good as he was before though, his head is crooked."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"Sorry doesn't help anything, does it?"
"I........ I guess not. I haven't thought about it that way."
"Also, I'm not 8 anymore. My birthday was two days ago."
"Oh, happy late birthday then."
"Psh, better late then never I suppose."
"Um... well, its dinner time, shall we get some food?"
"No, I'm fine. I'll get my food on my own time."
"Okay then, bye Lilly, see you tomorrow."
"Yea, sure. I guess I will see you tomorrow."
Lilly walked away from Shelby swiftly, she didn't want to be anywhere near the happiness of her premess. Lilly shuffled into her room, through herself onto her bed and played with Leon's mane until it was the appropriate time for her to get dinner. Shelby went to dinner early as usual and a couple minutes later she heard the rest of the kids leaving their rooms and rushing to get dinner. Lilly waited until she saw the everyone of the kids go back to their rooms and close theirs doors. She jumped off her bed and walked into the halls, Shelby was waiting for her at her door step.
"Hi" She greeted.
"What do uou want?"
"I was just bored I guess. Theres not much to do here."
"Get out of my way before I gut you like your guinea pig."
"Oh my god, okay okay!!! I'm sorry Jesus!!"
"Don't say his name in vain again or I'll stab you. Now leave unless your here to help me fing who cut Leon's head off."
"Okay, I'm gere to help."
"Really? Okay, start investagating, but make sure not to let them know what/who your looking for."
"I'll do my best."
"You best better actually be your best or your really gonna be dead, if I were you I would rake my word for it. Got it?"
"Yes, Lilly."
"Good, now move."
Shelby quickly shuffled Lilly's way and walked swiftly to her room. Lilly pushed forward and headed to the cafeteria for dinner. It was pretty dark in the halls and Lilly was having great trouble seeing. As she came across the secratary's desk, a lamp turned on.
"Huh, oh, hello Lilly. What are doing up?"
"I'm hungry."
"Didn't you have dinner with the others?"
"No, I don't like other kids."
"Oh, your like Shelby aren't you. Well, go ahead."
"Thanks, I guess."
Lilly stridded down the rest of the way to the cafeteria. She got her food and sat at one of the tables in silence. She had so much on her mind. Killing Shelby, she is to happy for Lilly's liking. Killing who ever decapitated Leon, he need justice and she was gonna make sure someone served it. Killing herself, she was miserable, hated it here, and missed her family, but they were in Heavan so she had to die to be with them. Lilly finished her dinner, rised from her seat, and walked back to her room. She was so slow, she was almost a zombie. Which that is really what she felt like, a dead zombie, with no life, no hope, no friends, no no nothing, except for the wish of death to end her suffering. She slammed the door, changed into pajamas, grabbed Leon, and jumped under the covers. She hated that the morning sun was close, she liked the night more. It was dark, scary, and everyone was silent. Soon, Lilly drfted into a sleep where she had dreams like no other, they were gory, scary, and a horrific experience, but she liked them. She smiled lightly as she dreamed.
