Months have passed. Things have been good. I haven't talked to my father. Lou has been burning the letters the chauffeur sends me. Harry loves me and treats me well. Lux has been a pleasure to take care of. The boys have very close friendships with me, including Liam.
I've handled the paparazzi, the screaming girls and the hate. Everything in my past prepared me for that. Harry has helped me through the adjustment of being in the lime light. I like it sometimes, and hate it other times.
So, things are naturally bound to go bad now.

It's a cold November day in New York. I'm back home, but no where in reach of my father. He knows I'm here. He knows the only way I will talk to him is if he tells me about why my mother left and where she is now. He knows the only way I will talk to him is if he tells me what he is up to, and what he has been up to his whole life. It can be very easy for him, but he decides to make it difficult.
I'm in one of Harry's sweaters sitting on the window sill with a cup of tea. I lookout to the streets and reflect on the times I had with my friends in high school. I haven't talked to them in forever. Harry hasn't been around really because of work demands. He leaves me cute little letters around our hotel room to remind me how much he loves me and misses me. If only this were enough for me. He's been cold and distant lately. I miss his hugs and kisses.
Lux is napping on the bed. She's grown so much in the months I've known her. I sit on the bed next to her, rubbing her head. I look at the table next to the bed and realize Harry left his phone here. Out of natural curiosity, I decide to go through it.
That was my first mistake. My next one was going through his messages.
T: Hey babe. What are you up to? Come to The Plaza. I'll be here for a while! <3
H: Lovely, can't wait to see you xx
"What the fuck are you doing?"
Harry is looking at me in disbelief and anger. He grabs the phone out of my hands and becomes a person in which I never met before.
"Who the hell is T?" I'm not scared of this new side of him.
"Are you kidding me? I know a lot of people, Dominique. The fucking media invades my life enough, and now you want to?"
"I'm your girlfriend don't compare me to people you don't even know inquiring about your life. I deserve to know."
"No you don't, not like that. If you're curious about something, ask me. Don't go through my phone."
"You're not even around anymore! How am I supposed to talk to you if you're always somewhere else and barely even acknowledging me anymore?! You've changed, Harry. You're hiding things from me. I thought I could trust you."
"God damnit, I'm not here for an intervention."
"Harry!" I scream as he walks out the door.
Lux is now up and crying at the sudden fighting. I cradle her in my arms and get her dressed to go out into the cold with me. I write a note to Lou telling her I'm taking her out on a walk.
I flag a taxi to take us to The Plaza Hotel. On the drive there, I vacantly stare out the window with a feeling in my heart things are going to be very bad in a few minutes. My phone starts ringing, and I see it's Niall.
"Dom? What's going on? I heard you and Harry fighting and he brushed me off angrily."
"Niall he's been acting distant lately to everyone and I'm going to find out what's wrong. I think he's with another girl." I say, my voice cracking.
"No."
"I hate to say it and I never wanted to be this person but I went through his messages."
"Are you positive?"
"I'm going to find out now."
"I'm really sorry."
"It's not your fault, Niall."
"I could've prevented this. I told you he was no good for you. I told you I was good for you. This wouldn't have happened if I wouldn't have let you with him."
"Niall, I'm at the hotel now, I have to go."
I felt terrible hanging up on him like that, but I had to. I was losing the man I loved and I wasn't going to let go of him that easily.
I spotted Harry heading into the doors of the hotel. Paparazzi and girls swarmed him, as usual. I jumped out of the cab and put Lux in her carriage, shielded with blankets. I put on my sunglasses, and followed Harry in. I was feet behind him, but followed him carefully. He was heading towards the bar. Tears started to flow out of my eyes as I thought I knew what was coming.
I stopped behind a wall, watching Harry head towards the bar. He stood behind a slender woman, putting his hand on her back with a charming smile. She was wearing a backless black dress on her porcelain white skin. She turned her head, smiling at Harry. She had blonde hair, and red lips. I immediately recognized her as she placed her lips on Harry's. It was Taylor Swift.
I felt sobs starting to shake my body, so immediately headed for the exit of the hotel. As soon as I was about to head out the door, I bumped into Lou and Niall. Niall took me in his arms and Lou took the stroller. She waved a cab for us, and I told them what I saw in broken sobs. They shook their heads in disappointment and disbelief. When we got back to our hotel, they helped me pack my things out of Harry's room and move into Lou's.
I fell asleep as soon as I crashed onto Lou's bed. Mascara tears covered the white pillows, as I hoped this was all a dream.
