LOVE OVER HATE: prologue

Lilah and Tyler are married although not very happy in their marriage.
During their courtship they we're happily in love, failing to see the faults in each other as infatuation normally is.

Tyler has a bad temper and gets mad her easily, as he is just beginning to learn the burdens of marriage. Due to the frustrations and stresses of marriage he physically abuses his wife Lilah in order to take out frustration.

Lilah is a sweet, naive girl who in spite of the pain she endures at home, dearly loves her husband and is constantly reassured by Tyler and herself that he loves her. She knows that things will get better and Tyler doesn't mean to hurt her.

Anirah is Lilah's best friend since high school and is first is oblivious to the crisis in their marriage, thinking that they are a lovely couple. Later on,.she finds out and is devastated telling Lilah to leave with no avail.

Brandon is Tyler's best friend. He is energetic and funny, yet a very keen and loyal friend. He is a basketball player and spends a lot of time in parties and events.

Lilah is forced by her friend Anirah to go out to a party without the consent of her husband. She feels lonely and needs interaction with other people. It turns out to be a huge event and she ends up meeting a guy called Mathew. She finds him interesting, funny, and really adventurous and also very handsome. He is charming and seems to draw all her attention.

And this is where the story begins.
