the sky is a road;
in the daytime,
the milky clouds are constantly
drifting across the ever busy highway
and, during the night,
the stars are sempiternally darting
over the traditional route they eagerly follow.

dawn or dusk,
the sky is a hectic atmosphere,
reflecting on the earth as we know it.

our planet, incessantly awake,
never entirely unconscious:
the world lets its inhabitants rest
but never asks for anything in return,
for the sun is always shining effortlessly
and the homely sphere is eternally in awe
of this, forever desiring to see its
breathtaking beauty.
whether it's during midday or midnight,
the gloriously glowing star is always providing
an undeniable light for the earth to admire,
and its accommodation to bask in.

the renowned lustre showers the universe,
performing the role of a torch and
donating a vivacious spotlight for the
sky's vehicles to follow,
preventing them from becoming startlingly
lost in the magnificently vast universe,
that is now bathed in dazzling luminosity.
the sheer radiance soon adopting the character
of the typically familiar traffic lights,
as the skies transform into overwhelmingly
populated pathways and crossroads for the
ever-increasing community of soft,
white, floating pillows and stupendously
vivid celestial bodies.

nightlife, a discernibly more stirring set of hours,
where nocturnals, insomniacs or simply just
enamoured individuals, are sleepless and watchful,
interested in what the dark period has to offer them
and curious to witness what the night has disrupted
their adored drowse for.
no wonder the stars are significantly more eye catching
and fascinating,
no wonder the gleaming balls of gas
glimmer and intrigue
you so much more than the daytime characteristics do,
when the dusk is unintentionally exuberant
and is the most profound chapter in the twenty four hour
daily existence that the congenial globe, and its folk, endure.

the sky is a road;
seldom stopping for anyone,
continuously resuming its unforeseen future,
granting access to the universe
for all kinds of life,
enabling the mysterious,
and primarily undiscovered,
cosmos to be contemplated and divulged
in all its glory,
since, from time to time, each citizen requires
a reminder of how beguiling and benevolent
their surroundings are,
so they do not experience immutable loneliness.
