I'm a calculator
I mindlessly spit out numbers
All day long without error.
I never make mistakes,
I'm like that imaginary friend,
who never takes breaks
and runs without end.
I can solve anything
Just type it in
I'll solve it before you can sing
a single note or lose a pin.
The only thing I can't do
is write a poem.
I can't ask, "What are you up to?"
or invite you into my home.
I'm no poetic genius,
but I am a mathematician.
I try not to make a fuss,
but I'm obviously terrible at creating a rhyming composition.
I'm a calculator
You can leave me to my math
And I will leave you to your maker.
