Henley pov.

I dont know why everyone hates Merritt. he is funny and sweet and caring but I dont like him in a romantic way.

I take the recruits back to the eye headquarters to meet our leader and the rest of the gang. when we get there dylan is on the computer and jack is playing with some cards. I saw Merritt earlier near the bar so I dont know if he is still there or not. "is Merritt back?" I ask jack he shakes his head no. I am worried because we have to leave for egypt tomorrow and I dont want a hungover Merritt coming with us.. hey hes sweet but is crazy when he is hungover.

" i am going to go get them, lisa and james stay here" I get my keys and head over to the bar.

james pov

I am so confused about this whole "magic" thingy. me and my sister just do it for fun then we do a couple shows. then join this weird Egyptian magic group?! I just want to go home but I promised my sister I will give it a try.

I look over at jack and he keeps staring at my sister! I just wanna punch him in . face.... yeah yeah I am a little protective about my sister but its just because she Is all that I got. our dad left us when I wad three and my mom died of a heartattack when I was 14.

Merritt pov

when I wake up I am tied up in a building. the same men that I saw at bar are standing in front of me with guns. I get really scared and almost pee in my pants. "wow! guys calm down." "dont tell us what to do" one of them tells me. " who are you?" they whisper at each other for a moment then one of them says " we work for a group that wants to elinamte the eye one by one and your first."

I try to focus really hard and I say "sleep" really confident and of course they fall asleep. I take the key and get going to tell the rest of the group about this.

henley pov

when I get to the bar I do not see Merritt anywhere! where did he go? I hope nothing bad happened to him.

I go ask the owner if I can see the video tape. he says yes and I check them... I see Merritt drinking then these two hunky men walk over to him, knock him out and take him away! nooooo! I have to tell the rest of the group about this. I sure do hope Merritt is okay.
