Chapter 3 : The name of the baby is Red.
1200 after JC, few hours after my flight. in the kitchen of the castle and Pile's room.
"Pile, are you okay?"
"Yes, Maelynn, thank you"
Since I arrived in the castle Maelynn took care of me. She accompanied me near the fire place and put another log in the seat to maintain the warmth. She took a huge towel to envelop my body and rub my hairs.
" Are you not cold?"
"No, it's okay. I am feeling better Maelynn, I am not cold anymore"
I hold Red tightly to one . He is warm.
"Why did you flee like that? The dark forest is a dangerous place, Pile"
She lowers her head and looks at Red.
"He is red-haired"
I reply: "I know"
"There is a lot of dangerous creatures in the dark forest. You could be killed Pile"
"Maelynn, are you afraid?"
She squats down and looks in my eyes. She smiles.
"I am not afraid, Pile"
she puts her hand in my head.
She looks at Red. The baby lifts his right hand towards her.
She takes his hand and looks at me.
"I am not Pile. He is a baby"
"But he has red hair"
"I see it but I am not afraid"
"Maelynn, Are you sure that all the peoples who have red-hairedare wizzard?
"Yes "
She puts her second hand on my arm.
" But don't worry Pile, he is just a baby"
She turns her head and looks at all the masters who gather in the kitchen. I can't see their faces because the candles don't give much light. But I see their shadows moving a lot. My aunt is here and talks a lot. She often looks at me and Red and points her finger toward our direction. She looks furious. All the masters are gathered in the kitchen and they all talk at the the same time. Some voices are furious, somes are afraid.
I even heard one of them who said loudly:
"We must kill him. He is a devil"
I feel Maelynn's hand on my cheek. She pushs my head to make me look at her.
"Look at me Pile! Don't worry your father will be here soon and I heard that Master Myrthe is in the town. He was in the mountain to pick flowers but he send a message to the others masters . He will be here soon to discuss about the baby"
