Part 3: My father wakes up.

Pile's POV:

Suddently someone knocked on the door. And a nurse enters in the room. She bows.

"My king! I am sorry to disturb you but I wanted to inform you. The king is awaked and asks to see his son and his father-in-law"

"My father is awaked?"

"Yes, my prince"

And she smiles. I can feel my heart relieved, I am so happy now.

I look at Red and he is smiling too. I want to hug him but I curb myself in front of Master Rubain and my grand father. We decide to all go to the infirmary.

When we arrived in his room, I recognize the father I always knew. He was sitting in his bed, a napkin around his neck. In front of him, the nurse placed a huge tray with cup of coffee, bread, jam and slice of jam. And he is eating, making the most of life.

We enter and my father stops to eat.

My grand father said:

"I recognize you my son-in-law. Always ready to eat something"

He approachs beside his bed and they hug. My grandfather gives slap in his back.

"We are relieved that you came back from the death kingdom"

My father nods. My grand ftaher sits on his bed.

"Eat a lot and recover. You are unconscious since four days and that's normal if you feel tired and hungry"

My father turns his head and finally sees me and Master burain. He raises his hands.

"My son!"

I run and hug him too. I feel that he is crying.

"My son! I miss you so much"

He looks at me and hugs me again.

"I am sorry that I was unable to protect you against Solenn and Royal. I am sorry that you lost your Master and Red. My boy, your heart must hurting so much"

"Father, Red is still alive!"

I can see him totally surprised.

"Red is alive? "

"Yes he survived"

"How is it possible? No one can survive at this fall"

I explain to him what's happened since he collapsed. The fact that Solenn lost her sanity and that she is locked in a gaol. The fact that Royal died. The fact that Red was accused wrongly for my murder. The fact that the prophecy was uncover. The fact that Némis tried to kill me again in the library. The fact that Red is a shadow now.

Finally, my father asks:

"Where is Red? Is he wounded?"

"No, father, he is here with us"

"I want to see him. Please call him Pile"

And I turn my head toward Red.

Red's POV:

I slowly appears in front of my king. And I bow.

" Come here my boy!"

It looks like the king is furious against me. I slowly come beside him with my head down. I don't dare to look at his eyes.

"Look at me!"

Yes, I think he is furious. Because of me his son is in great danger or... I start to raise my head and I hear him crying.

"My boy!"

The king is looking at me and I can see he is happy to see me. He is crying. He finally hugs me against his chest.

"You are finally here my boy"

He rubs my head. I can feel his love for me. I was an orphan and I always considered the king as my real father. I am happy to see that he is feeling better now.

"What 's happened to you my boy?"

He turns his head towards master Rubain.

"Master Rubain, what can we do for Red? How can we help him to come back to normal?"

Everyone sit around the king's bed, curious to hear master Rubain.

"Unfortunately my king I don't know a lot about wizzard. My connaissances are so limited. I just find something inside an old book. Do you remember it Red, I show it to you"

"That's true"

I try to remember the sentence :

"The part of dragons can also heal a wizzard that become ill."

Master Burain says:

"Our problem is that all the dragons are dead now"

Everyone looks worried.

"But ..."

I raise my head.

"But maybe there is a little hope. There is an old legend I heard from the mouth of my mother. A legend that talked about the last dragon. The dragon dug a cave under the Red mountains. And then he died.

"A dragon?"

The prince says:

"Red can transform as a dragon and he has also the dragon's tears"

The prince's father and grandfather both nod.

"There is no time to waist. Prepare yourself. You will leave tomorrow. I will search for maps and other usefull object"
