Chapter 6, Part 2: Némis.

Part 2: Némis.

Master Burain accompanies us to the huge room of banquet.

There were three fireplaces and tables lenghtwise. As we enter in the room, we hear a loud laugh. And we see the king sitting on his throne. The king is like my prince, he has golden hairs that are around his head like a lion mane. His long and bushy beard is like gold too. The colour of his eyes are blue like water. Contrary to the prince, he is also tall and wise and his skin is burned by the sun. When he see us arriving, He gets up of his throne and walks rapidly through the room. Then he takes the prince in his arms. I see that he is crying.

"My boy, finally you arrived"

He looks at master Burain.

"He is like Rose"

"Yes, my king, that's true"

He puts his hands on the prince's shoulders.

"Yes you are the spitting image of your mother"

A tear flows down his cheek.

"I saw you once after for your birth but I never met you again since then and I am so regretful about this now"

Suddently, he turns his head and looks at me.

"You are Red?"

"Yes, my ki.. "

He lets go of my prince and hugs me .

"Thank you, my boy, thank you to come back with him. I was so worried"

Then he looks at my hairs.

"I hear from Master Burain that you are a wizzard from the South?"

I blush.

"Don't worry I am not afraid. I know a little about the magic. Némis has some magic powers too and she showed me some of her optical illusions. She tells me that a lot of her peoples have residuals powers like that. She lived in the North and as you know it's were the dragons were born. And even if the dragons are all dead now, their mysticals powers has impreganted the ground and the water.

"Némis?"

"Ah! I forget. My boy, come with me, I will introduce Némis to you. she is your future wife"

My heart skips a beat when I heard the word wife. We walk towards the throne with him. He keeps to praddle and shows the walls and the decorations. Happy to speak with his grandson. I look forward and I see Némis.

She is a beautiful woman. She is not that tall and she has a white skin. But what's surprised me the most is that she has red hairs. A longs and curlies hairs as red as mine. Is she also a wizzard? It's the first time I see someone who looks like me and that fascinates me. Master myrthe said that there are wizzards in the north and south of the kingdom and people can recognize them because of theirs red hairs. The king told us earlier that she shows some tricks to him so she must have some magic inside her .but are her powers strong or not?

As we walk toward the throne, she raises her head and looks at me first.

I had a bad feeling but it was really furtive. For one second, I though that's she wanted to kill me.

You imagine things. She didn't know you, why would she want to kill you? I erase this idea from my head.

The king introduces Némis to us. She bows and says she is so happy to meet the prince. She blushes a little. And she looks even more pretty. Why did I feel a point of jealousy?

My prince looks at her and he bows too. But he doesn't smile to her a lot. He is someone really shy and he doesn't know how to react in front of his future wife. I try to reach his spirit but surpisingly he closed it.

Nemis smiles a lot and she is charming. She asks to us if we had a good trip. I don't know what to reply, maybe no one keeps her up-to-date on our misadventure. She says that she is really excited to be married with the prince and that his family already choose her dress for the wedding.

The king gently stops her.

"As you can see Nemis is really happy for your wedding but we decided with her family that it's not the best moment for that. You just arrived and survived at soething terrible. Your father is alive but he is still unconscious. so we will wait until your father recovers"

He looks at master Burain.

"We will do our best my king. I think we can cure him soon"

The king nods and looks at my prince and Némis.

"You must take time to learn to know each other, to discover your feelings. You are still young and I think that you need time to fall in love"

They both blush.

Ah, my heart is hurting. I don't know why but it seems that I am jealous. I knew that we traveled for the wedding of the prince. I though my heart will be ready but in fact, it is not. everything is too sudden.

Also, I didn't knew Némis and I think that I never expected she will be so beautiful. I am sure that the prince must find her pretty too. she has red hairs . And I know that's a colour my prince loves a lot. He always said that my hairs are one of my charming point. She laughs a lot and her voice is pleasant.

Stop to torture yourself. You must focus.

The king talks to Master Burain:

" I will take care of the prince now. I will accompany the prince to see his father and Némis will accompany us"

And finally, I see him pushing the prince and the princess in front of him. The prince has no time to says goodbye, smiles or even looks at me. I am little frustrated. I don't try to reach his spirit. I think that I act like that because of the jealousy.
