Roco's True Love

Roco began to walk down a long twisted road in the woods. She turned and saw a shadow. Afraid, she backed up pushing the whisps out in front of her. "Who's there?" No answer. The shadow was still and she turned, staring at the shadow. In her blurry eyesight, it multiplied. She forced her eyes to turn the burning green color that she could make them turn. She felt a familiar presence. It felt.... fuzzy. Like.... a strange fuzzy and warm feeling. She searched for the word it felt like.

"Love?"

She questioned herself. She turned and the shadow came closer. Rock dropped the fire. She didn't know why she felt that... "Roco... " The voice was sharp and somewhat deep. She knew the voice. Then the shadow walked out, and a tall boy with blonde hair and a long black jacket. His eyes were cool... but were kind. He smiled brightly. Then she knew. It was Zorit. "Zorit!!" She ran to him, crying. They hugged and she felt the warmth of his heart... his big heart... He was so kind... They had loved each other. That was a year ago. He was gone now. He gave his life for Ritzo. She had been so lonely.... "Don't cry Roco... Its ok..." She hugged him tightly, tears running down her cheeks. He rubbed her head gently, pushing the hair out of her face. He tried not to cry. "I missed you...." she looked up at him, wiping her tears. "I know Roco. You've been very lonely. But you have to understand it was for the best...." Roco looked up with a hint of doubt. She didn't want to believe he was gone. "But... I loved you..." She blushed, she could never admit it and finally did... She had thought love was pointless before. Now... she thought it held her together. Her family and friends... "Roco... do you really love me?" Roco looked up nodding. He blinked smiling. "Then you need to let me go." Roco thought for a moment he was there... then he faded. "Goodbye Roco." Roco wiped her eyes... watching him disappear...

She woke, and turned seeing Merk, who was asleep with his arms around her... she blinked, blushing. She realized what Zorit had said. To forget him... She would never do that. She looked up and Merk smiling.

But she would thank him for his help.
