Chapter Four

*Aria*

After seeing Sean I knew there was still hope. He could've shot me right there. He could've arrested me and I wouldn't have fought back.

I pulled up to the Mafia house and parked in the garage. No officers followed me.

I got out of the car and slid the money in my pocket. I walked inside the house.

"I'm back," I said letting Zack and Joe know.

"You have to use the garage door! Someday were gonna shoot you!" Joe said.

"Ha! I dare you," I laughed at him sitting on the couch.

"Did you get the money?" He asked.

"Of course I got the money," I said rolling my eyes.

"Where is it?" He asked.

"It's all about the money isn't it? No hey are you okay? How was your mission?" I said handing him the money.

"Are you okay? How was your mission?" He asked.

"Yea I'm fine. My mission was great- i- um- shot Sean." I said.

"Sean?!" He asked.

"Uh yea. He tried to stop me, so I shot him, I tried aiming for his heart but as I slipped out the window I only got his arm," I lied.

"Dammit! He could've been dead!" He said angrily.

"I know- I could've killed him." I said sounding ashamed.

"Just because you're more wanted then me and Zack doesn't mean we still aren't in control of you. We want him dead Aria. Why do you think we stole you in the first place?" He asked standing up.

"Listen- I'm sorry! I tried killing him!" I lied standing up also so I didn't feel weak.

"No- I don't think you are sorry. I think you meant to shoot his arm. You need punishment." He said grabbing my arm and pulling me along.

I would try to fight back but it would just get me killed. He pushed me into his bedroom. I don't like where this is going.

"You need to be punished," he said locking his door behind him.

I stood there waiting to be punched but instead I was pushed up against his wall.

He started kissing my neck. I didn't like it at all. But then again what choice did I have?

Zack would kill Joe if he saw this. He moved one of his hands down to my ass.

"W-where's Zack?" I asked quietly.

"Out," he winked before he smashed his lips onto mine.

He picked me up and I just went along so I wouldn't be abused. I had to listen to them.

He continued kissing me and laid me on his bed. He got on top of me and continued to roughly kiss me.

I didn't like where this was going. I just hoped Zack would barge in at any moment.

He unzipped my black jacket. All that was underneath was my bra.

"I'm home!" Zack yelled and Joe quickly got off of me.

"Go get in the shower. Zack will never find out about this. Do you understand me?" He whispered and I nodded.

I grabbed my black jacket and ran into Joes bathroom. I turned the shower on and got in.

*Zack*

"Hey," Joe said walking out of his room.

"Where's Aria?" I asked.

"She's taking a shower," he said pointing to his room.

"In your room?" I asked.

"Yea. Today while she was on her mission she encountered Sean. She tried aiming for his heart but she slipped and shot his arm. She was very out of it and needed someone to talk to. So I was on my phone talking to her through the door while she was in the shower," he said.

"Sean?!" I asked angrily.

"Yea. Sean." He said and my blood boiled.

"Hey," Aria said after she got out of the shower and got dressed.

"Hey, I heard about your mission," I said placing my hands on her waist.

"Yea, I- I didn't mean to shoot his arm, I- I wanted to kill him!" she said angrily tearing up.

"Hey, shhhh- it's fine, you're fine. At least you're okay, that's all that matters," I said hugging her as tears fell from her face.

"I- I'm sorry," she whispered.

"Don't be," I said still hugging her.

*Aria*

"Alright Aria, time for training!" Joe yelled in the training room.

"I'm right here you don't need to yell," I said rolling my eyes.

"You will train down here until you get this drill perfect!" He yelled again ignoring what I said.

"Alright, what's the drill Mr. Bossy," I asked.

"Shoot these six targets in the bullseye while running from these police officers," he said pointing to targets that looked like humans and mannequins dressed as officers that were on wheels.

"And then you are going to have to go through this obstacle course," he said pointing.

"Alright seems easy," I said.

"That's not it Aria. Next you have to cross through these alarm traps, without setting them off," he said pointing to a bunch of lasers.

"Then you have to get this key," he said pointing to a key hang of from the roof that you had to climb go get.

"Then go back," he smiled.

"And the point of this is?" I asked.

"You're going on another mission. A mission you will never forget." He winked before he left and locked the door.

A mission I would never forget? What did that mean?

I sat on the metal bench and slipped on my shoes and gloves. I tied my hair in a bun and then stood up.

I put on my belt and grabbed two guns. I slid them into the holsters. I grabbed some ammunition and slid that on my bet as well.

I walked inside the training room. Joe's voice came on the intercom.

"Ready? Take one. Three, two, go!" He said and the training started.

The police mannequins started chasing me as I pointed my gun at the targets and shot at them.

I got 6 on the bullseye. I slid the gun in the holster on my belt as I ran from the cops and into the obstacle course.

I dodged moving obstacles. I hopped over things. I ducked under things. I climbed things.

"Fuck," I whispered as my arm slipped and set off an alarm.

"And you're done." Joe said.

I walked back to the beginning and started the drill again.

A/N: You see, Rayne is very sad, Rayne is very sad because Rayne was going to go to the movies with Aidan but Aidan lives in another city. Rayne can't tell Raynes parents about going to the movies because she wouldn't be allowed to but Rayne wouldn't have a ride to the theatre in the city Aidan lives... Sad day... But oh whale!
