"This is trash. Both of them."

Yusuke dump the report in front of him. Folding his arms, then contemplated on something, saying to himself. "I never thought I'd fall deeply into these things. Usually I just got to kick some asses. But I guess its time for me to truly be the sherlock that I am."

Botan who heard him is quite doubtful of his plans, since she KNOWS first hand. "Are you serious? Its true you only got to kick some butts even though you're the detective. So I don't know how that will work out. Besides the team that is handling this is one of the bes-" Botan tried to assure him but was cut off.

"Best? THEY ARE LAZY! How can they conclude it that way. They were probably drunk and just wasted the year away when they issued their findings. Hell, surely my contribution as a detective is better than their piece of trash." Yusuke violently reacted.

"But their findings is the same as the findings of the apparition you hired, isn't it. So that must atleast bear some reliability." Botan reasoned out.

"Look, I can forgive that demon spirit who issued that." Yusuke pointing at the folder on the floor. "But not a report like that from the Spirit World. Of all the gods Koenma, you really believed that?"

"I..did." Koenma's short reply. Now that he earned some mental awareness from that nap and tea, he is starting to re-think the details.

"But Koenma. They're one of the best spirit detective team in Spirit World. How can their work be nonsense." Botan disheartenedly stated, sensing that her master's re-figuring things out.

"Its because they failed to recognize, that an existing fact in this case is the solid foundation of her existence."

"And what fact is that?" She inquired.

Koenma looked in Yusuke's direction. A confirmation to Yusuke that their minds now working on same details.

Botan who still looking lost, stared at Yusuke, then back to Koenma.

Yusuke decided to break it down for her. "The fact named Urameshi Yusuke. Come on Botan, what happened to your usually quick mind."

"I..." She tried to defend herself but was once more cut off.

"She was smitten with one the guys who was handling this case. That's the reason why she has that trust in their findings." Koenma shared to them.

"WHAT? I don't know what your talking about. Is this.. the joke of the year? Ha ha ha funny." She uneasily answered.

Koenma just shook his head at her. Then proceeded to discuss the matter at hand. "So Yusuke, what is running in your mind coz mine needed more rest I guess, for me to give a valuable idea at the moment."

"Wow, Koenma you're really that tired just to leave it to Yusuke. You even lost your directive self." Kuwabara piped up.

"I was literally, not in my best this past year. As I've said earlier, Stella, the HSA was on leave, I have to personally supervise them in retrieving and reviewing Yusuke's family tree. At first it was fine. The line from Yusuke up to the second decendent was easy. It became messy from first decendant up to the woman Raizen contacted with. Both of their history seems blurry and for unfathomable reasons there isn't enough records for us to study. We haven't found details to bound them together." Koenma paused then re-stated his self. "Wait, we haven't found anything that connects the first decendent to Yusuke's ancestress. That's the problem."

Kurama, who has started reviewing the report Hiei brought to them found something on the contents. "Interesting. This report shows that Yusuke's ancestral line is dominated by women. Actually, he's the only male decendant."
