Chapter 5

The walk back was quite long, to Kuwabara's surprise. In his floating state of mind, he can't even remember how he 'walked' that distance. Twenty minutes on their feet and it seems that they will not get any nearer.

So they changed the pace. Running for half an hour finally brought them back to Genkai's temple. Yusuke and Kurama didn't quite make a disheveled appearance. But Kuwabara was down on the ground.

"Come on Kuwabara. You can't look beaten out like that when its you who traveled that far, looking like you just step out of your cliff backyard. What did you do to even get there?" Yusuke asked.

"I told you, I can't remember. I just know that I wanted to find a place to breathe. And I saw that view. So I stayed there."

"How long had you been standing in there before we arrived?" Kurama's turn to inquire.

"About 20 minutes?" Kuwabara, who opted to continue to sit on the ground replied. He still feels exhausted after keeping up with two Class S 's run.

"YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" Yusuke cannot believed it. "TELL ME, WHEN THE HELL DID YOU LEARN HOW TO FLY?!? TO TELEPORT?!? Seriously, you've hidden this all this time?!?"

Kurama who was impressed also calculates the time line of events. "We'd been searching for you for about 45 mins in the woods. We didn't got to catch up on you even though we followed just within minutes after you. So yeah... you've hidden this ability of yours all this time. Quite amazing, truthfully."

"I don't really noticed and I don't understand what your saying in there Kurama. Sounds awesome but I really don't have an idea."

By then, Yukina showed up with a tray of cold drinks followed by Keiko.

"I've prepared drinks. For you to cool up." Yukina said while walking towards Kuwabara. He is now standing up. Got on his feet the moment he saw Yukina.

"This is very thoughtful of you. Thank you very much." Kuwabara blushingly accepted the flavored cold tea offered to him.

Both Yusuke and Kurama accepted the drinks then proceeded to enter the temple quarters where Keiko is.

"You're just on time. Or else its Master Genkai who's gonna search for you." Keiko said.

"I know. That's why we have to cut Kuwabara's crap. Come on I'm hungry." Yusuke toned his voice while speaking. The other guy is just behind Kurama, animatedly speaking to Yukina. He's hand on Keiko's back, leading her to where the others are waiting to start their lunch.

It's a bright but not too sunny afternoon. The gang opted for the outdoor this time. Setting table and chairs on the lawn with picnic cloth laid on the soft grass. The ladies prepared cold desserts in addition to sweet treats earlier on, matched with variable colds drinks to cater different preferences.

Koenma, who have recovered most from his rest started to re-open the case. "So, Yusuke. What would be your next move in this?"

"I need to see Raizen." His blunt reply. Koenma almost choked on his iced chocolate drink. Kuwabara who was watching Yukina feed some birds on the ground sharply turned his head to Yusuke. Kurama and Hiei non the less listening to what he has to say, the former comfortably laid on a tree branch near Yukina.

"You're joking?" The young god asked.

"Of course not. Someone needs to calm his ass. Its been months since the first signs of his demon energy showed up here. And bet you couldn't handle him considering the worsening situation." He stated while also laid down on the grass, biting a thin long grass.
