Chapter 6

"What the hell is that?"

Yusuke felt the he wouldn't even try to open his letter. His resignation letter. He decided to do this the next working day to resolve his father's mayhem. Better start early in stopping Raizen terrorize the Living World with his 'end-of-this-world-thunder-super-storm'.

His Foreman is still busy studying the demolition plan and blueprints, he didn't even try to look his way. So he decided to help himself.

"Dear Foreman, I would like to inform you that I am serving my resignation letter to travel and resolve a familial issue. However, I would like to share to you that I highly regard my work, and I hope to return to service once I've wrap up the situation, if there is an available position. Yours truly, Yusuke Sir." He read out loud.

His supervisor tipped his head twice before he answered him. "Ok. Do you need to leave immediately?"

"Umm, Yeah I guess. But I still need to serve few weeks for turnover or wait for the replacement."

Without turning away from his blueprints, the Foreman just wave his hand.

Yusuke was atleast expecting reprimanding words from him. But he hasn't heard anything near it.

"Uhmmm, what exactly do you want me to do?" Yusuke asked.

"If you need to leave now, go. If you still have time for turnover then so be it." The Foreman finally lifted his eyes to him. "But if you didn't come back on your promised condition, I'm gonna find you and skin you alive. You hear me boy?"

Yusuke was elated. He stood up straigther. "Sir Yes Sir. I still have time for turnover so that's what would be. Thank you. Gotta work yal!" Then proceeded to his work station.

The door on the Foreman's right opened then Saki appears. "The young man is a hard worker. Its sad to see him go."

"Tsk tsk tsk. Didn't you hear that he will comeback? And besides he has a lovely girl that I believe he wouldn't just leave behind. If he didn't comeback its his loss. Bet his girl has a line of suitors just waiting for a tinge of her attention."

"You scout him?" Why, Saki was not surprised.

The Foreman left his plan perusal and turn his full attention to his right hand man. In an irritated voice he replied. "I don't need to follow everyones' tail to know what's happening with them. As long they step foot on my ground I know the details! Remember I'm the one that convinced Nana not to leave you because you always loose your tongue when she's around and you can't even explain your work over time! Now go back to work you tit tat operator!" He pulled out some papers then repeatedly tapped it to Saki's shoulder. "WORK WORK WORK!" He bellowed.

Saki retrieved his head gear and hid the smile on his face. He knows the old man has a thing for smoothing lovers quarrel and anything in between. And he guessed he found his next project.

Yusuke was instructed to process turnover for two weeks. He has begun his transition to his existing co-worker. He found out they wouldn't need replacement for the mean time because the construction is still below regular work load.

He also planned his visit to his ancestress' home within the first week. And they're set to go on the next day off. Kurama and Kuwabara offered their help which he gladly accepted. Kurama also told him Hiei will join them though he will go directly from Demon Plane to the area they are meeting up, the rest will need to take a flight and a few hours land travel time.

Still a dark dawn of Saturday Yusuke, Kurama and Kuwabara were ready to board when they heard someone clearing a throat.
