Lucid Dream

" Hyung?" Minhyuks voice echoed in the empty hallway and Jonghyun raised his head. He was  lying down in the couch in the living room. Dhez has gone home to Japan with Haru, their two year old son.

" What is it?" He asked his eyes squinting at the harsh light of the afternoon seepinmg through the window of their house.

" What are you doing there?" It was Jungshin who ask this time and Jonghyun scowl.

" Why do you keep asking me these questions?" His patience was wearing thin. Dont they know that he was resting? Eversince Dhez left  he doesnt want to move. He will move when both his wife and son come back home.

Suddenly he can hear the song blast out of the radio....

" Going back to the corner where I first saw you

Gonna camp in my sleeping bag I'm not gonna move
Got some words on cardboard, got your picture in my hand
Saying, "If you see this girl can you tell her where I am?"

He doesnt wanna move because everything within him hurts. His head was aching. His eyes are hurting and his chest felt heavy. 

Minhyuk and Jungshin approached him and both sigh at his appearance. 

"They will come back in a week." Minhyuk said his mouth compressed in a line.

"Stop being a kid hyung." Jungshin admonished him.

But he, Lee Jonghyun wants nothing of them. Why did this two insist that he move anyway? They dont have any shooting or practice scheduled. The band has been in hiatus after their successful  concert in Japan for the Colors album.

" We have a schedule." Jungshins eyes bore into him and he frowned.

"How do you know what I was thinking of?" He asked incredulously.

Jungshin and Minhyuk look at each other then they laugh. Their laughter echoed in the hallway until it became high pitch. Jonghyun covered his ears. He must be dreaming. Thats the logical  thing to describe this. How can a laugh sound like that. Suddenly it became quiet. He sat up and look around him.  

The room was bare.The couch and the table are gone. There was only a bed where he was sitting. But earlier he was sure he's lying on the couch.

" Jonghyun...how can you be so cruel?' He heard a voice ask him and he spun around looking for the source of the voice.

" Who are you?'He asked. " Show yourself." 

" Ahh..But Lee Jonghyun why?" The voice echoed all around him and he winced. The sound is grating in his ears. The voice is raspy as if it was talking nonstop for days.  " Why are you so cruel?"

The song played again and Jonghyun found himself lying down on the couch. 

"Some try to hand me money, they don't understand
I'm not broke - I'm just a broken-hearted man
I know it makes no sense but what else can I do?
How can I move on when I'm still in love with you?

His eyes misted.

Where was Dhez? Its been three days since he saw her. 

A hand brush the unkempt hair on his face and he sighed. 

" What are you doing to yourself Hyun?" He  thought he heard Dhez asked him.

" You left me." He answered, his voice breaking as tears fell from his closed eyelids.

"Did I? Why would I do that?' He heard Dhez' voice asked.

"Because ...because Im a fool. Because Im a liar.." He was crying openly. Sobs rocked his chest and it hurt so much to cry. " Come back please..."

"Dhez open this door!" Yonghwa was shouting and knocking on the door at the same time.

Dhez brows furrowed. Why was Yonghwa yelling outside? She wipe her soap soaked hand on her apron and hurriedly walk to the door. Unlatching the chains first, making sure that it is indeed Yonghwa on the other side of the door. Their eyes met and she un hooked the chain.

"Yonghwa what are you...?" She didnt finish what she was saying when he hug her and cried. "What happened? Tell me please."

Yonghwa just continue to cry and Dhez tap his back so he can calm down. She gently kicked the door  close. She lead him to the couch and he walk slowly wiping his eyes at the same time.

"What happened?"She asked him when he calmed down.

" Please..please take me.."He said as tears fell on his cheeks.

  

" What are you saying? Where would I take you?" Dhez is confused. Yonghwa is acting strange and he is making her nervous.

" Dhez. Leave Hyun. Take me instead. I love you..." Yonghwa said as he leaned to her and kiss her.
