Ethan's POV
As I stumbled down the back entrance steps, I couldn't help but think how rude Blake had been to just drag me out of the cafeteria like that! I honestly would getting so annoyed at her at times like this.
She stopped just next to the wooden steps and she yanked me into a tight hug.
"I'm so sorry you have to put up with that 'Cassidy' girl," she started, pouting her lips and batting her eyelids innocently.
"What?" I questioned, confused. My chest started pounded slightly as I stared at Blake, bewildered.
"I mean," she continued, "With what she did in the past and all-"
"Wait, what?"
"Oh, you didn't hear? It been going around the school all morning!" she cried, surprised. I scratched the back of my neck gently as I waited for Blake to continue.
"Well, there have been a few rumours going around," she stated, "but I know that one of them is completely true." She started to twirl her hair between her thumb and fore-finger as she leaned against the wall, checking her manicured nails.
I lifted her head with the tip of my fingers and stared intently into her ice blue eyes.
"What is it?" I cried frantically, widening my eyes and clenching my teeth together.
"Oh, just that she slept with the whole football team at her old school," she blurted out, as if it was nothing. "I saw a few pictures of the guys and, I have to say, they were quite ugly. I know you don't care, but I'm just warning you! You don't want to be played by her!" she finished.
I gulped the big knot that had formed in my throat, and straightened my shoulders. I looked away for a few seconds, and tried to control the way my chest was moving up and down so quickly.
I swallowed again, holding back the disappointment which whirled around, strongly, in my chest.
From the corner of my eye, I saw Blake smirk a little, and I exhaled, the cold air forming a smoke-like cloud in front of me.
Blake ushered me towards the steps, but my mind was blank. How could I have been talking to such a slut?

Cassidy's POV
"Do you guys know where Ethan is?" I asked, "I have history with him next."
Grayson just said: "Sorry, bro," and Jake shrugged."He went somewhere with Blake before, remember?" Aaron suggested. They all said goodbye and I found my way to my history classroom.
I looked around the classroom to see Ethan sitting down at a desk, and Blake leaning over him, giggling. Our teacher hadn't arrived yet.
I clenched my teeth together and breathed hard as I made my way over to the empty desk next to Ethan. I couldn't control my anger, and I honestly don't know why I was so angry.
I slammed my bag down to the floor and crossed my arms across my chest, my eyebrows raised. Everyone in the class had turned their heads to look at me.
"Hey, uh, Ethan?" I asked, my voice giving away my annoyance. He didn't even turn around to look at me. Was he ignoring me? "You said you would meet me back at the cafeteria?" I carried on, and now Blake had turned around.
"What do you want?" she asked, looking down at me with an expression she would have used if she had stepped in a piece of dog shit. "Hey! That's my seat!" she suddenly screamed, trying to shove me off of it.
